There’s something about silent vlogs that is calming and healing. But do you know that they can have the same effect on the one who creates them too? Such was the case for silent vlog creator and slow living advocate Kristine Diane Cajes Rosal, more commonly known on YouTube as Simple Dee.

“Because of the pandemic, I also got laid off my job. Medyo malaki po ang emotional impact sa akin kasi first time ko rin po na-lay off sa job.” She then turned to vlogging to cope with this hardship and help herself make a smoother transition from being a working housewife to a full-time one. “It’s like recovering at the same time sharing to your audience how you recover.”

To better connect with her audience, she makes it a point to shoot all the scenes inside her home. "Kasi marami nga pong sa atin ang stay at home lang working from home. Very relatable siya sa mga viewers."
