The metropolitan home of a young urban executive mirrors his need for a warm, inviting retreat after the pressures of a day's work. The owner of this condo unit took a while to decide on having his own pad, but when he did, he actively sought out a designer who would be able to draw out a masculine layout but still keep the space homey and welcoming, a place where he could relax despite his location in busy Makati.

The owner only had three specific requests of designer Gerard Mendoza: that his space look masculine, that it wouldn’t be too boring or simple, and that there would be a lot of storage. The end result is a home with an urban-Asian theme and an overall feel that is equal parts practical and luxurious.
