There is something elegant about a woman who knows how to carry herself well. The way she sits on a chair speaks volumes about her upbringing, and the way she stands reveals her level of confidence. Pauli Antoine Porquez Genuino, President and Founder of Etiquette de Manille and Red Archon, is a master of both.
With a quick demonstration, she gives FN a few handy hints on how to stand tall. "I'd always want the knees together or almost overlapping," she says. "That’s actually a no-no for me when your knees are far apart. They should be seen as one, or at least, with no gap in between for ladies, especially when they're [wearing a] skirt.
The small shift in stance instantly gives off a more sophisticated vibe. It also proves to be a slimming strategy, something to remember when posing for photos or when meeting someone for the first time.
