No one can be 100 percent happy all the time, but that doesn’t mean we can’t try, especially since several studies have shown that our emotions may have a direct influence over our health. In fact, a comprehensive review of more than 160 studies on happiness and well-being published in the journal Applied Psychology: Health and Well-Being shows that happy people tend to live longer lives compared with their unhappy peers.
