When you’re in a relationship, you tend to do almost everything as a couple. You watch movies together, attend parties together, and even make travel plans together. It only makes sense that you should also be exercising together, right?

Take US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for example. According to WebMD, they are the first couple of fitness. While they probably don’t always get to exercise at the same time given their hectic schedules, both apparently make time to exercise every day. “When in Chicago, the new first lady was said to begin her day with a 4:30 A.M. gym workout,” WebMD reveals. The President’s workout routine, on the other hand, “would put many men half his age to shame.”

An article on Men’s Health adds that “people who work out with a partner they feel comfortable with are more energetic and happier than those who work out alone, report Santa Clara University scientists.”
