Every woman has her own body type, and the fact is, as long as you take care of yourself, you’re beautiful no matter what shape you are.

Unfortunately, not everybody understands that, and sometimes women who have a bit of weight on them are subjected to everything from comments that are supposed to be well-meaning, to some that are downright mean.

Today, weight remains to be a pretty touchy topic, especially since people are quick to judge others based on their appearance without even knowing the personal stories of those they're looking at. Dr. Larrian Gillespie, author of The Goddess Diet, shares on WebMD, “When someone tells someone they have ‘such a pretty face,’ there’s a subconscious tagline that the rest of you isn’t so hot.”

The solution? “Thank you, so do you,” Dr. Gillespie suggests. If they don’t get the hint, then it’s not really your problem. Just stay healthy, and as the doctor recommended, keep on doing you!
