Yummy Filipino Recipes, the first interactive iPad app published by Summit Media, is now available as a lite version to download for free! Designed for food lovers craving for Filipino meals, the app is set to inspire users to unleash their inner chef and to get creative with their home menus.

Yummy Filipino Recipes Lite introduces users to a couple of local favorites through interactive features that can be found in the app. There are 12 easy-to-follow recipes spread out over six categories: Salads and Vegetables, Noodles and Rice, Fish and Seafood, Meat, Poultry, as well as Desserts and Sweet Snacks.

Whether it's an unexpected twist to a classic dinner favorite or a melt-in-your-mouth merienda, Yummy offers recipes that hit close to home and that are fast and easy to cook. Get the recipe done in a jiffy with the app’s interactive ingredient checklist, step-by-step instructions, and quick tips for an even better dish.

“With sumptuous meal ideas, interactive features, and beautiful design, we’ve seen a great response from users and are excited to launch the lite version for everyone,” adds Paolo Manzano, Associate Publisher for Interactive Editions.

To get a taste of Yummy Filipino Recipes Lite, check out the Yummy Magazine on the App Store and find the lite version inside, which are both free to download.

Presently, the full version contains 101 Filipino recipes and is available in the App Store for $3.99. Over the next few months, Summit Media will introduce updated versions of the full version and will roll out additional Yummy apps slated to come out later within the year.
