Here's another sneak peek at one of this year's 100 amazing Filipinas!

While best known for the powerful voice that landed her the lead role of Kim in the original London production of Miss Saigon at the age of 18, this world-renowned actress continues to make waves today for using her voice to support various women and LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) campaigns throughout the country. Diagnosed with cancer in 2010, she fiercely embraces life through her passionate advocacy to end violence against women. As an openly gay woman, she serves as inspiration to repressed gay people everywhere to follow their dreams and live lives of freedom, dignity, and respect.
