UNICEF Special Advocate for Children Daphne Oseña Paez, who helps educate moms on maternal health, shares, "I want to help UNICEF raise awareness and funds for all their other goals: providing children with health care, access to safe water and sanitation, education, and protection from violence, abuse and exploitation.”
UNICEF Special Advocate for Children Bianca Gonzalez is also ecstatic about UNICEF’s newest project. “I’ve been working with UNICEF since 2007 and I’m very excited to be a part of this unique fundraising auction. Whilst online auctions are quite new to the Philippines, it’s very secure and the best thing is you can participate from anywhere.”
The auction goes live on May 25 at www.ebay.ph/unicef. It closes on June 4, 2011. You can click on the image to the right to go directly to the auction page. Or you can scroll through the gallery below to see what items are available for auction. Besides jewelry and paintings, you can also bid on a certificate for watching the Azkals game on July 3—from the dugout!
