Cosmo’s 8 Sexiest Models for 2014 were honored in a fun, fearless fête on November 13 at Raven Manila. Eight of today’s hottest names in modeling, chosen because they embody Cosmo’s strong, sexy vibe, made this year’s cut: Chanel Olive Thomas, Hye Won Jang, Jodilly Prende, Katarina Rodriguez, Kim Ross, Olivia Medina, Samantha Gomez, and Tola Orendain. The eight are featured in Cosmo’s November 2014 issue in a hot white-and-denim fashion spread by top fashion photographer Shaira Luna, their sexiness seen for the first time through a woman’s eyes.

The Cosmo’s 8 Sexiest Models list started in 1999, launching the careers of many of the country’s top models through the years, including Joey Mead, Phoemela Baranda, Amanda Griffin, Cristina Garcia, Wilma Doesn’t, Rissa Mananquil, Raya Mananquil, Isabel Roces, Ornusa Cadness, Kelly Misa, Georgina Wilson, Ria Bolivar, Pauline Prieto, Jessica Yang, Jasmine Maierhofer, Samantha Lewis, Catriona Gray, Valerie Weigmann, Karina Cabiling, Maxine Medina, Linn Oeymo, Kylie Verzosa, Melanie Angeles, Sirene Sutton, and Nikita McElroy, among others.

Myrza Sison, editorial director of Cosmopolitan Philippines, brought back the now-annual list in November 2011 when she resumed editing the magazine. She says, “Cosmo's 8 Sexiest Models for 2014 prove that what makes a woman sexy is more than just exposing body parts, but a combination of confidence, attitude, and that sexy Cosmo smolder that can only come from believing in yourself and being comfortable in your own skin. These top models have discovered what makes each of them different and flaunt these assets to their advantage, very much what Cosmo espouses: ‘to be the best you can be in every aspect of your life.’ They inspire us all to emulate their effortless style and sass.”

Spotted at the party were actress Max Collins, former Cosmo Centerfolds Jake Cuenca, Rafael Rosell, Vince Ferraren, 2014 Cosmo Centerfold Pancho Magno, Cosmo Bachelors LA Aguinaldo, Kurt Viray, Adryan Hanson, Miguel Lasala and Jeremy Blake, former Cosmo 8 Sexiest Models Catriona Gray, Michelle Panemanglor, Maan Marquez, Nikita McElroy, Sirene Sutton, Jasmine Maierhofer, and Ria Bolivar. Spinning fresh beats that night was DJ Kat Sy Lee. Major sponsors for the event were Revlon and Freego, with special thanks to Belvedere vodka.
