You've caught the movie in theaters, but have you seen the musical that started it all? MAMMA MIA! will be running in the Philippines from January 24 to February 19 at the CCP Main Theater. Manila is the cast and crew's final stop in their international tour; they've already been to 74 other cities in 35 different countries all over the world.

Featuring fun and inspiring musical numbers from Swedish pop group ABBA, MAMMA MIA! tells the story of Sophie Sheridan's search for her real father on the eve of her marriage. Among the hit songs that will be performed are "Take A Chance on Me," "Dancing Queen," and "The Winner Takes It All."

Five of the main cast members sat down with the press on January 19 to talk about their visit to the Philippines. Actress Sara Poyzer, who plays the role of Donna Sheridan in the musical, says she and the cast are excited to meet Filipino audiences because they've heard good things about them.

The MAMMA MIA! cast will be going on a promotional tour around the Ayala Malls (Trinoma, Alabang Town Center, Market! Market!, Greenbelt 5, and Glorietta 4) in the following days. You can also catch them performing on shows like Happy Yipee Yehey and ASAP on ABS-CBN.
