You’ve probably been internally screaming “Mainit!” recently, what with summer slowly making itself felt, but while there’s little you can do about the heat, you can still opt to brush away your init ng ulo with a nice, cooling beverage.
Starbucks has recently announced this season’s offerings, highlighted by a fruity, limited-edition drink: the Mixed Berry Frappuccino with Pomegranate Pearls.
This simple but refreshing drink has mixed berry sauce blended with milk and topped with whipped cream. The star of the show, however, are the pomegranate pearls which burst with a sweet, tangy flavor that doesn’t overwhelm your senses.
If you’re up for something more indulgent, Starbucks also offers three new core beverages, two of which have their signature whipped cream infused with cold brew:
Triple Mocha Frappuccino
This twist on your classic Mocha Frappe is like a party on its own, with the drink sandwiched between two layers of signature whipped cream and dark mocha sauce.
Dark Caramel Coffee Frappuccino
Just as decadent is the Dark Caramel Coffee Frappuccino, which features layers of signature whipped cream topped and blended with rich dark caramel sauce.
Red Velvet Cake Cream Frappuccino
If you love your red velvet cake, then you’ll love this dessert-inspired drink with its mix of mocha sauce, chocolatey chips, and a dash of raspberry and vanilla syrup.
The Mixed Berry Frappuccino with Pomegranate Pearls is available from April 9 to June 3, 2019 only, while all three core beverages will officially be added to the Starbucks menu starting April 9. Both are available for an initial activation amount of P300 per card starting April 9.
