For a lot of us, there’s only one momentous event that comes to mind once the month of March arrives: Graduation! It’s definitely a big highlight, as it symbolizes a person’s transition to full-fledged adulthood. If you’re part of batch 2013, congratulations, and we hope you make our country proud!
But before you dive headfirst into the real world, we suggest you take some time off to celebrate your last carefree, parent-funded days. Now’s the perfect chance to spend quality time with your family, explore far-off lands, and try new things with your pals. One of the things in our must-try list is Bazooka on Fire--a bubblegum-flavored flaming cocktail that Kat Nantes of Paire Cocktails and Pastries concocted for us. Eager to try it out? Here’s how you can make it in your own home.
1. Mix equal parts of Irish cream, banana liqueur, and blue curacao in a shaker.
2. Pour the mixture in a thick, durable glass, and add a part of Bacardi 151 proof rum on the drink’s surface.
3. Carefully set fire to the rum using a lighter and enjoy the show!
Tip: Don’t forget to extinguish the flame first before consuming the drink using a straw.
