Much like our favorite toyo, patis, and ketchup, olive oil is beginning to become a staple in Filipino restaurants. Just ask Black Sheep’s Chef Jordy Navarra who used a variety of olive oils from French-based company Oliviers & Co. to show us just how far the green gold could go.

From his Chicken-N-Egg appetizer to his Calamansi Merengue, Foie Gras & Polvoron dessert, it was evident that the right quality of olive oil can be an asset in the kitchen. It doesn’t just give our favorite dishes a more refined finish, it’s also a healthier alternative what with its polyphenols, vitamin E, and oleic acid.

It doesn't hurt that it's so easy to incorporate into our daily meals either. “I have to admit that I am cooking everything with olive oil,” says Melanie Costaris, International Sales Director at Oliviers & Co.
