A jolt of energy and wakefulness aren’t the only benefits of having coffee. In 2010, the Alzheimer’s Association of the US discovered that adults aged 65 and above who drank the most coffee “had a lower risk of cognitive decline.” Sure, it’s also widely believed that too much of the caffeinated beverage causes heart palpitations, “but there is little evidence to support this belief,” says a 2010 report by the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. In fact, a breakup would probably do you more harm, so drink up!
Health benefits notwithstanding, there’s still nothing worse than waking up to bad coffee. Allow us to help make your mornings better with these picks.
