Hi. I am due this Aug 9. This is our first baby. Hopefully nsd but I have gestational diabetes. Last week checkup normal weight pa naman daw si baby girl for 32 weeks, nasa 2-2.2kg. I've bought all the essentials. Now I am contemplating if I should buy the breast pump as early as next month or should I wait after ko manganak? Also kung bibili na ba kami ng stroller or wait for a few months pa since di pa naman sya need ng mewborn? Any thoughts? Thanks.

Hello Mommies!

I'm due Aug 19, praying for NSD.   :D

This is my 2nd child, but over 10 years ang gap nila, so I have little to no recollection how I got through my first pregnancy.  I'm at the point na it's hard to sleep for 8 straight hours, and my baby keeps moving.

We chose the Medical City to give birth in since trusted naman yung mga doctors that we have encountered here.  Kayo, san nyo balak manganak?

For the pump, kahit siguro yung manual pump lang muna para at least you have something to use in case you need it while still in the hospital.  For the stroller, if you see yourself taking the baby out very often and you think mangangalay ka sa pagbuhat, then get it.

hi sis  Yelo, san ka manganganak? hehe

Hi sis! I work as a nurse dito sa govt hospital and dito din ako manganganak. I feel safe dito, kasi alam ko maalagaan baby ko. :)

Sis, are you working po ba? If yes, then you need a pump talaga. That was one of my mistakes sa 1st born ko.

Manual and silicone pump will suffice. :)

Sa stroller naman, based on experience ko ha, mabuti na lang hindi kami bumili ng mamahalin at bonggang stroller. Kasi ayaw ni baby ko sa stroller. Ang nagamit ko ng sobra ay carrier. Yung ergonomic at recommended carrier sis ha, hindi yung carriers na parang brief/panty lang ang support, big no no po yun. :) hope i helped.

Thanks sa suggestions. Anyway already bought spectra s1+ for bp. I am working kasi. Kaya iniisip ko kung after birth na lang kasi not sure pa sa nipple size. Pero 28mm nlng binili ko to be sure, bili na lang other flange kung malaki. Also bought aprica carrier and stroller. Haha sobrang excited for our first baby. I'm at my ob's clinic atm. Haha. Dami ko pang pending sa work.

Got the surprise of our lives when my water broke last Aug 2! I gave birth to our baby girl on Aug 3, we were totally not expecting it to be this early kasi Aug 19 ang due date na binigay ni OB. 😁

I got the Spectra S1 din, and I?m happy hindi ako nagpadala sa pink na S2 (fave color ko kasi pink, lol!). It?s sooo convenient to use bec of the built in battery, so I can pump anywhere without worrying about a nearby outlet.

Btw, sale ang BabyMama for the whole month of Aug bec of breastfeeding awareness month, so I?m planning to visit the BGC branch today to get essentials. After pumping for a few days, narealize ko ang importance ng hands-free bra so I?m getting that. Kayo mommies, meron pa ba kayong mga items na you thought you didn?t need, but after giving birth eh you?re already desperate to get? 😅

How many days before lumabas bm mo? And how many days before you use the pump? My due date was yesterday. Was advised to be induced on monday by ob kung di pa rin ako maglabor this weekend. Hay. Anyone here had an experience to be induced na talagang 0cm? Malaki chance macs ako nito.

Hi mommies! Joining... ;)
I am on my 38th week now and expecting to give birth anytime soon. August 25 due date ko. I will give birth sa QC Gen. Hosp. which is very near our house.. So what i did was, I looked for an OB affiliated sa QC Gen so that, private OB ko pero public hosp para makatipid..hehe. 25k lang quote skn ni OB lahat na Philhealth ready narin:) I think ok [textspeak!] ako manganak sa QCGen kht public kase [textspeak!] rn ako nanganak sa 1st baby ko 8years ago..i was only 19yrs that time at wala p work kaya yun. Hehe. Pero ngaun may work n ako, gusto ko prn don manganak but with Private OB..

I just had my BPS utz ysterday to check if ok na lahat (had it at New World Diagnostics for 1.2k), and nagstart nrn ako magtake ng Eveprim (oral & pnpasok sa keps😄) pampalambot daw ng cervix.. Actually knkabahan ako this time kht 2nd baby ko n kasi ang lau ng ng agwat ng babies ko, 8years!! Haha.

Still hoping for safe Normal delivery..
Sana sa ating lahat mga momshies!! God bless!🥰

Hi mommies,

Given birth Aug 28 at Asia Medic Dasma via NSD with epidural. Spent 38k net of philhealth already. My Doctor is Dra Salagubang. She is very good and took care of me. Didnt lke anesthesiologist lang coz she inserted the needle 6 times to get it right and now my back is really sore but i hope this will subside soon. The hospital was also booked that week and they lacked staff. It has taken 7 hours for us to be moved to the room due to lack of nurses and my baby was roomed in 9 hours after which I didnt like. [textspeak!] depende tlaga sa hospital noh? Anyway, i am still happy with my ob and that we are both safe and healthy!
