yesterday, hubby received this text:

Good Day! Philmanagement would like to invite you to attend a free Orientation for Special Opportunity for Married Couples in Australia. To qualify, couples should both hold a bachelors degree, and one of you must be a graduate of IT courses/accountancy/engineering courses with 2yrs exp in the field. Please reply with your full name for reservation. Don't miss this opportunity! NO CASH OUT! Thank you. Philmanagement

I googled and searched for "philmanagement" and may website sila, pero parang hindi naman galing sa kanila yung text.

Probably not the telcos fault (it's very easy to blame them). But think again...

Pwedeng i-"farm" ang number mo from other sources such as:
- Facebook and other websites (posted your number online?) <<--- probably the easiest way to farm
- those in the streets that asks you to join raffle/get free stuff
- friends (especially those in MLMs)
- forms you have filled up in offices/stores
- application forms you fill up in the streets (credit cards, internet subscriptions)
- newspapers, directories
- pamphlets, fliers, calling cards
- and many other creative sources of getting them...

its more of a question, and not blaming them.

as for "farm" ang number, like fb, i dont think so, i dont put contact numbers in fb. di ko din pinapatulan yung mga freebbies and raffles.

Tsk tsk.

^ Saken sis walang confirmation eh.

Please call Atty Churva for details."

I have one line na suki ng spammers because the number is easy to remember. My current line was peaceful for a while pero this year, meron na din >:(

The telcom companies sell these active numbers kasi we also get ads every now and then and when we ask the agent, sa telco daw nila nakuha number :o

I like games well played :)

It's irritating to keep on getting this spams. It's really pathetic.
