Curly hair stylists in Metro Manila?
« on: October 30, 2017, 11:21:12 am »
Hey all, I'm new here!

Anyway, I'm thinking about having my hair trimmed and layered really soon. All answers and recommendations are appreciated, thank you girlies!

Had the same problem before! I just recently (and spontaneously lol) had my hair cut in Chic Hair Salon, in Annapolis, Greenhills, and was very pleased with the results. The hairstylist is Korean, her name is Selina. She did a dry cut of my curly hair. The service cost me 550. Good luck!  :)

The best for me talaga si Narry Naraja of Acqua Salon Trinoma before, kaso last I heard Paranaque-based na siya :( Ruby of Piandre Timog is okay din for curly hair.

Had my hair dry cut at Piandre UP Town Centre. Ang pangit. The stylist and her assistant insisted on brushing and blow drying my hair straight pa. Which is a no-no for curly hair (especially for CG). I had to say no a number of times. The worst. If you don't know how to handle curly hair, acknowledge it and say no and we'd happily move on.

Sayang kasi I had a nice cut from abroad tapos nasira lang nila. Never again for Piandre.

Any updates dito? Trying to grow out my hair. Sinira nung David's yung hair ko so nagpapixiecut muna ko to let the healthy curls grow back. Nagreklamo ako sa twitter nila kasi I asked for a stylist na marunong maghandle ng curly hair.... turned out wala marunong sa kanila, pero nag-offer sila to "fix" it. E how will they fix it kaya e wala ngang marunong maghandle sa kanila, even the senior stylist. Jirits talaga!! >:(
