Walking Shoes
« on: October 18, 2018, 02:05:21 pm »
Hello! Ano ba yung magagandang brands of walking shoes sa atin? I'm looking for alternatives to my running shoes kung kailangan maglakad ng matagal and sana yung medyo binabagayan ang most outfits, hindi kasi bagay sa akin masyado yung sporty look. Maarte lang, haha. Right now, I'm looking at some of the ones they have at skechers, and I have yet to check out vionic pero medyo type ko yung mga design nila and I'm hoping for feedback first on their shoes.

^try mo sis yun Go flex ng skecher. All-around yan sakin yang shoes na yan. Super comfy at tibay. Panglakad, pang-ulan, pang-araw.. Pang-akyat sa bundok, pangdrive.. Grabe..

Naghahanap din ako ng sandals na super comfy, pero might go with skechers for now.

Haha! Tita shoes..
Unless umulan at nabasa. Dun talaga sya bumabaho.

Love it.

Orthopedic shoes sila kaya I was interested at first.

Will try fitflop next. Hindi ako masyado fan dati kasi ang chunky tignan sa akin, but if maganda panglakad, then go ako!

^Nice sis! Yung bagay pang corporate outfits. Kahit naka shorts ka bagay din siya. Parang no brainer shoes na bagay sa kahit ano. Love love Skechers.

A fan of go Skechers here. Try also Toms, pang alternate sa skechers ko, pang whole day walking.

Dr. Kong sandals. IMO better than Fitflop in terms of knee & ankle support and absorption of ground impact.  Medyo 80's tita lang ang mga designs, but once in while, they release designs that are current.

Fave walking sneakers: New Balance, Saucony and Adidas NMD

I will try your additional suggestions, mga sis, thanks.

So far okay am really happy with the skechers na nabili ko, but still looking for other brands para naman may ma-iba ang style and/or design.  Meanwhile, I tried fitflops and birks uli. Fitflops is okay sana for me but medyo dapat yata mapili ako sa design, meron kasi silang versions na masakit sa top of the feet yung strap, unfortunately ito pa yung unang nabili ko. The second one was better, but I'm not really in love with it, LOL. Birks naman...I had a pair years ago and gave up on it, but they said na I should give it time to break them in, so got new ones, but now they actually gave me slight knee pain. Sayang, not for me talaga.

If all else fails, back to skechers!

Toms lang talaga ang ok for me. I know it looks simple/ minimalist pero it doesnt make me feet & legs hurt everrrr. Kahit gano pa kalayo ang lakaran. Kahit buntis ka pa. I only use Toms classic super gaan and comfy.

i wear FitFlops sa office everyday (basta walang meeting) kasi very comfortable talaga sha, and nagpapalit na lang ako ng heels if may meeting ako.

Before naman i used to wear this skechers shoes, hindi ko nga lang matandaan the model name.

Napabili ako ng shoes because of the various sales this season (I know, bad habit!), but just wanted to share my feedback on them:

Adidas ultraboost (not sure lang which ultraboost...4.0, I think?):  Looks nice. I very rarely buy sneakers, but this is supposed to be very comfortable, so I wanted to try. Maganda sana, kaya lang it's putting pressure on my feet sa top part. Don't know if this will get better over time. Pero yes, very comfortable sya, and I was able to walk for hours without anything hurting, LOL.

Fitflop gladiator: Matagal ko na gusto magka-gladiators but I'm afraid of the straps rubbing too much on my skin. But this looked really, really good on me and walang irritation at all from the straps after hours of walking. Sadly parang nakukulangan ako sa cushioning nya. Sumakit paa ko after only mga two hours of walking around. This is compared dun sa other fitflops ko na chunky thong or h-bar style. Pero sya yung pinakagusto kong fitflop design so far.

Toms, yung star wars slip-ons: First time to try toms. Admittedly napabili ako kasi I liked the print, hehe. Haven't really used it out walking yet kasi ibibili ko sya nung canvas protector, but it looks okay naman on my feet, nice fit. Yung top lang where the elastic is is parang tight din on me. They say this will loosen a bit over time, so hoping for that.

I already had two arizonas na regular footbed and parehong hindi ko masasabi na sobrang comfortable like others would describe, but sa totoo lang, I like the feel of birks on my feet so I keep trying them out haha. But will keep using them until magkasundo na kami, haha.
