hi mga sis, i've started this thread for people like me who does not know how to find a location for their small business.  since i am an OFW this is doubly hard for me kasi i can only rely on the internet.

I am not keen on mall space and i've looked into different threads na pero wala akong makitang thread devoted purposely on looking for a location.

for my own small business, i'm thinking of putting up a food stall or food cart franchise. sana i could get helpful advice in GT. ;)

same here, gusto ko din mag franchise but still planning what and where? I guess you should know your target market first then from there list down all the possible location and check the place directly.

For food stalls/kiosks, the most important thing is where there is a lot of foot traffic. Kung saan maraming taong naglalakad like sa mrt, palengke, malls, schools, simbahan, terminals etc.

I finally found a location after looking for more than 5 months. I'm updating this thread para makapagbigay advice sa mga sis natin na who would like to franchise or is having a hard time looking for Location:

* Best Strategy - Look for connections or business connections. Dito ko nahanap ang location ko lalo na kung Mall ang Target niyo. hindi kayu papansinin ni Leasing Department kung nobody kayo or wala kayong Padrino ( this principle applies to everything here in the philippines. Padrino is King)

* Do ocular visits as much as you can, i always go out naglalakad ako, nagiikot sa mga areas na gusto kong magbusiness para makakita ng commercial space for lease.

* Magikot sa mga Malls to find new concepts - dito ko nahanap yung concept na nakapasa dun sa Location ng gusto ko. Kung yung Location mo is along the road karaniwan hindi si picky sa location pero kung Malls yan for sure sila magapprove ng Concept and most of the time gusto nila new concept unless bago yung Mall na yun at wala pa.

ang dami kong nakikitang redtape sa industry na ito tulad ng Malls would give Location only to those Franchisees or Owners na nagrerent na sa kanila dahil ayaw na nila to deal with new ones.

it actually makes me sad to think na this is the way to do business in the Philippines. Sobrang Corrupt, Sobrang Red Tape, Sobrang Dumi but what can you do? yan ang lagi kong iniisip. Sana nga malagpasan na namin yan lahat at makapag open na kami.

Hopefully my post helps! and Goodluck sa atin mga sis!

We are currently looking for a nice location where there is a high foot traffic. We are targetting to put a milktea business. The challenge is paunahan sa mga location. We rely mostly sa Ads posted in FB and Carousell. We tried availing the service of a locator but some areas they provide is not we expect. Sometimes the lessor wont allow if there's already the same concept in the area or not interested on any food business in the property. Hayy, hopefully, we could find one.
I was born to make you happy.
