Small detail I noticed in "The Prestige"

Throughout the movie there's many hints at the twist, and it shows how in many ways the two magicians are mirrors of each other.

A minor detail I noticed for the first time when watching it last night was that in a way, they both die the same way as their wives. Danton drowns his clones made with Teslas machine, in the same kinda glass box his wife drowned in during the beginning of the movie. Alfred (or at least one of the brothers) dies by hanging in the prison, much like his wife did following an argument with the brother who became imprisoned.
