Depends on you sis, pero if they are your prenup photographers mas ok. Kasi you get to assess how good they are. Also you can check quality of their work.

Dati nagmeet din kami nung team nila  kahit 1 hour pa yung meeting niyo hindi mo naman minsan matest yung rapport unless nasa actual shoot na kayo. Kala ko dati masungit photographer namin keri naman pala pagshoot na during our prenup.  Mas okay and comfortable pala sya sa shoot. 

Meron din ako nabook na sobrang bait pagnakipagdeal pero in person maiinis ka sa sobrang pagkaactive niya nakakapagod siyang kasama masakit sa tenga and sa katawan sa dami gusto ipagawa. (talking about our destination photographer from maldives)

Yes sis they are also our prenup photographers. Sa tingin ko kasi no need na, naisip ko lang baka it's a must for other brides. Pwede din kasi kahit trhu email na lang yung mga bilin ko if ever though gusto ko na yung work nila as it is. So far ok naman yung naging rapport during prenup shoot.

Bigla lang ako napaisip bigla kasi nagseset ako ngayon ng meetings with other suppliers. Thank you sis!

Hi mga sis, sino ba yung photographer na maliwanag, maputi at nakakakinis? Wahaha i mean di edited ah. Pero magaling sa lighting, ayoko yung style kasi na uso ngayon yung parang may filter na panginstagram.. yung nagiging dark or sobrang soft. Pls suggest naman please please thanks

uglygirl hi Sis, I got Law Tapalla for the exact same reason haha, maliwanag, maputi at nakakakinis, I mean yeah edited, pero super crisp halos di mo makita transition ng colors. Ang creamy sa feels. Haha medyo di sya pala kausap medyo busy pero grabe kumbaga eh everyday I'm falling deeply, madly in love sa shots nya. Excited nako sa prenup and wedding day mismo.

^ hi sis uglygirl, same sentiments tayo. ang dami ko rin nakikita lately na parang pang instagram na nagiging sobrang edited or iba yung color nung photos. hindi na natural. tapos yung iba puro wide shots hindi na makita yung couple. haha! I also prefer yung light , clean and natural.

You may want to check Foreveryday Photography, J Lucas Reyes or Pat Dy. For me they are the ones who are still balanced in terms of the output (based sa mga na attendan kong weddings). Aside from beautiful portraits, they are able to capture the natural emotions and candids of the wedding. I've noticed kasi sa ibang new photographers, they just focus on the flowers, cute details and portraits na lang. For my wedding, I want a lot of candids and natural emotions aside from the details. But this is just my personal preference

If I have the budget, I'll go for Nelwin Uy. Very natural ng color (ayoko din nung parang may instagram filter na haha) and very good composition ng photos. Good combination ng wide and tight shots. Plus naappreciate ko how they also focus their shots sa wedding ceremony, hindi lang yung details and couple portraits because yun naman talaga ang kasal.

I super duper agree with you sis! I won't set a meeting na lang baka mag e-mail na lang talaga ako if ever may gusto akong shot! Na wala din naman ako maisip hahaha Tipid na din kasi nga yeah we have to treat them out. :p Thank you, sis!!

sis lots-o ako kasi nakipagmeeting kasi I wanted to set a relationship with our P/V team. Iba kasi pagkausap mo sila, you can discuss talaga. I met both Ghe and Air Balloon. Ang dami namin napagusapan. We talked about their style and what we liked about them. I said ayoko ng edited, yung parang nabubura na yung mukha ko sa pics. hahahaha. Sabi ni Air Balloon, sa camera palang tinitimpla na nila yung shot kaya very minimal edit sila.

Actually Ghe wants to meet a month before the wedding to discuss the concept of the SDE and exchange ideas. Para daw mabigay niya idea niya tapos mashare din namin kung anong gusto naming makita. He wanted to know our personality para mareflect siya dun sa SDE.

I think it's good to meet your P/V team, you'll learn a lot about each other and you can exchange ideas regarding the shoot. But ofcourse that's just me mga sis.

I agree sis, i met them too after i booked them. Pero feeling ko sa dami ng clients nila makakalimutan na nila napagusapan namin. So far wala naman ako problema sa personality nila. Jason is Jason ( i mean very transparent to what he is in media)  very down to earth person siya ang pinakaunderstanding na suplier namin and Jayjay is quiet pero when he has his camera wow hands down talaga ako sa kanya.He will make you comfortable the entire shoot.

Sa videographer feeling ko no matter how you plan your sde to come out mahirap ipredict yung mga moments, that how Jason told us, even the songs kasi if you choose the happy songs pero walang masyadong happy moments mahirap ipilit yun. The sde are same emotions felt that day, unlike photo medyo kaya pa dayain. Or meron din mga video na pipilitin tayong gawin ganito ganyan kaya siguro songs nila are instrumentals lang, for me gusto ko yung normal lang. We make our own stories mahirap talaga itago sa video yun not unless artista ka talaga.
 
Sa photos naman kelangan din ng mga elements to make it nicer. If lahat nasa theme mo naman hindi sila mahihirapan magorganize. For me as a preparation inaral ko talaga yung theme na gusto ko and how do i picture our photos to come out,  i will prepare all the necessary things to my coordinator and make a checklist for them to work with the photographer. Hindi na kay photographer kasi baka maiinis siya sakin kung may checklist pa ako.  As for the layout, kung ano talaga ginagawa nila ayoko na baguhin yun i dont wanna make restriction, i trust my photographer enough that  he will perform, naamaze kasi ako sa prenup namin parang may mga out of the box pa lumabas wherein fact hindi naman planado yung prenup, no pressures, chill lang!

^I totally agree with you sis lots-o. Sa photography may pwede ka pa itweak pagkatapos, and you can choose your best shot from a set of pictures whereas sa video, live emotions mo yung andun di ka naman pwede magretake ng moment na yun especially sa SDE. Kaya nga lagi din nila advice na to let go and just enjoy the moment on the day of the wedding. I do however have a list of video shots that I would like taken and a list as well ng mga ayoko para may guide lang sila. Nagiging obvious kasi kapag masyado scripted, ang awkward lang panoorin para sakin hehe. This is why gusto ko "untemplated" para magrereflect prin sa video yung personality ng couple.

On this note, have any of you considered getting a different videographer/photographer to do your STD and a different one to do the wedding coverage?

True sis Lots-o! Kaya dapat you have to choose the supplier na nagcacater sa gusto mo talagang style. But sis Jason is Jason. Ghe has nothing but good words about him. Super taas daw ng level ng professionalism niya, iba talaga. And I'm a big fan of him. Sa tagal niya sa industry, alam na alam niya na yun.
I agree sa video na yun na talaga. Siguro what they plan ahead is yung flow ng video and the BGM, since they direct the SDE .

^ I also don't like choreographed shots sa SDE kasi hindi ko talaga forte and magpose. Ghe don't take a lot of beauty shots for videos, more on candid yung style niya and that's what I really want too.
