Question About "Rapid" Weight Loss
« on: February 12, 2021, 07:59:09 pm »
At the beginning, I weighed 346 lbs, but since then I've been able to lose 47 lbs (currently sitting at 299 lbs). To be clear, I'm not doing any type of gimmick diet or taking any supplements. I've just been walking several miles everyday and watching what I eat (cut out fast food, soda, etc.). I know that dramatic weight loss in short time intervals can be bad for heart health, but since I'm doing it the "right" way (diet/exercise), is this still true? It's just that I want to keep going while I have all this momentum, but I want to make sure that in the process of improving my health, I don't incidentally harm myself. Any thoughts?
