Not entirely sure if my question fits in this topic, so mods, kayo na po bahala magtransfer just in case.

So basically I have been considering distance education. I have an ongoing introductory course on edx, and just now I have been interested in pursuing Masters in Information Systems in UP Open University. Kaso nung nakita ko sa site yung subject outline and elective subjects, parang ang basic (Introduction to this and that, something that I already took in my undergraduate degree), so hindi ko alam kung ipush ko pa ba ito or kung relevant pa ba na itake ko yung degree na yun, or mag MBA na lang ako (not sure pa where kasi I'm based abroad) since 10 years naman na ang job experience ko.

Another doubt I have: granted you have the budget to pursue verified or yung with certificate na online courses from MOOCs (like Coursera, Edx, etc), mabango ba talaga sa resume yun or hindi?

Please post away. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you!

Hi, I've got my Master's in Computational Linguistics at the University of Washington online and I don't regret the distance learning program I chose. It's comparatively cheaper and you can easily plan and schedule your tasks from home. SDSU is now offering an online Certificate in Computational Linguistics, so I think I might apply for it as well; it will definitely be a huge advantage, when I add it to my resume later.
