I had episodes of panic / anxiety attacks for a year. Nagstart sa acid reflux and back pain. Then I decided to consult a psychiatrist na since wala naman daw nakikita sakit sakin. The medications helped me a lot. Until after 10 months, I found out that I have thyroid problem, na pwede pala symptoms nun yun mga nafi-feel ko like anxiety, insomnia, etc. Do consult an endocrinologist na din to rule out thyroid disease.
Though no-one can go back
and make a brand new start,
anyone can start from now
and make a brand new end.

Totoo ba yan sis? I have all those symptoms. Is it hyper or hypo?

Hypothyroidism can cause anxiety so first make sure to have that checked. You can take apple cider vinegar for acid reflux and for thyroid issues. Just make sure to dilute it with water. If you are advised to take thyroid pills, it's very important to take it with empty stomach and at least 2 hours before taking any medication.

Instead of worrying or self medicating, how about consulting with a neurologist just to see if you have physical manifestations and if mood stabilizers can help?  You might be advised to seek psychotherapy if its really more of depression than anything else.  Good luck ladies!

hypothyrodism din sakin. and I have anxiety. kaya pala. may bukol din sayo?  ang problem ko na lang ngayon parang pare pareho ang nangyayari sa araw araw kong ginagawa. is it bipolar? and nag fofocus ako sa same problem. tapos parang iniisip ko baka mamatay mahal ko sa buhay. pano pag namatay sila. baka malungkot na ko forever baka mastuck ako at hindi na makabangon.

i dont know pero malaki improvement ko. yun lang problem ko as of the moment, glad theres a forum like this! it really helps us with anxiety problems. keep sharing

Tipong minsan tatawag mom ko, tapos di ko masagot agad at di ko sya macontact when I call back, hala kung ano ano na naiisip ko.

I read this thread and i can relate.
I sometimes wake up having an attack i suppose pero base lang lahat sa google. First check up ko with psych sa feb 12, not sure kung neuro psych sya,
nacheck na thyroid ko normal lahat.
when i have attacks di na rin ako nakaktulog. what i usually do, Listen to Marconi Union's Weightless. I also walk pero aimlessly saka may tulay dito sa amin takot ako i have parallel vertigo rin.
I write on my journals. I write 10-20 blessings a day. following rhonda byrne's the magic.
sana maging ok ako after session sa makati med. expensive and d covered ng card. hoping i can get accurate diagnosis.
thanks sa thread na ito..
help is available.
kaya natin to mga sis

I've had this since I was a kid but it just went away and it wasn't properly diagnosed. Last year, I was brought to ER because of difficulty breathing and it was diagnosed as anxiety attack. Last week, I was sent to ER again because of this.

I had psychiatrist consultation last year and was given prescription but because I didnt want to rely on meds, I tried to control it and it went away. Last week, i had no choice but to take the meds because it was getting worse.

Is there anyone here who experienced this? If so, what did you do?

I consulted my neurologist Dr Winnie Lim Khoo, magaling po siya. napagaling niya ako.

So tinutulungan ko nalang din sarili kona labanan to. Hindi ko alam kung good ba to or not kase diko din naman natry magpa consult sa doctor.

I know someone who was diagnosed with anxiety disorder.  If it something that grows deeper, better to consult doctor for medications. Yung friend ko also medicated pero she switched to alternative and natural medicines.  Essential oils has has been helping her.  Lavender oil has a calming effect.
Anyway, its' great to a person who has anxiety attack to have a good support system .

Hi sisses. Meron ba sa inyo napreggy after madiagnose ng anxiety or panic attack? How did you manage? I'm currently preggy, hindi pa nakapunta ng OB kasi by appointment ngayon sa USTH. Pansin ko pang grabe yung anxiety ko lately. Sabayan pa ng asawa kong unsupportive.

Panic attacks became an integral part of my sister’s life and it was just a terrible period in our life and if it weren’t for excellent doctors and drugs like Kratom, but she couldn’t get rid of it. I’ll say right away that this is a story from my life and there is no advertising here and this is the most honest post on this forum. Viki began to experience panic attacks at school and shortly afterwards she switched to home schooling. Panic attacks became less frequent, but nevertheless she could not get rid of them. Doctors suggested we try Kratom. I heard about it before but never used it and we decided to take a chance. I recognized does walgreen sell kratom and found various types of kratom at an affordable price. Soon, she began to feel better and I could not even imagine that the effect would be so quick. Also, her nervous system has become more stable. Thank you for listening to my story!

Last september, nagpalpitate ako then sobra akong nagworry na akala ko may heart problem nko. My physician advised me to do general checkup, ecg, xray and other blood chem where done even hormones test since i have pcos. all test were normal aside sa subclinical hypothyroid ko and multinodular non toxic goiter. After a week, i was diagnosed GERD na din im not sure kung nakatrigger si stress pero kasi sobrang sedentary [textspeak!] lifestyle ko non. Mas naging severe [textspeak!] anxiety [textspeak!] of the symptoms ng gerd. sobrang sensitive ko na rin makabasa about sa mga cancer. sobra akong natrigger sa mga ganun.
then neto lang, nagpasychiatrist nko [textspeak!] i couldn't manage my anxiety anymore plus nagpapanic attacks na din ako.

my doctor prescribed me an anti depressant and mood stabilizer. grabe no, this whole pandemic really hits our mental health. nakakadrain na masyado.

Praying for our healing!

I suffer from depression and anxiety attacks din. Minsan kala ko heart attack na and then i realize its just panic attack. Ang hiral ng panic attack and always being anxous. Kaya nagccause sya lalo ng suicidal thoughts ko kasi i just want to escape.
My doc prescribed me Prodin and it's really helping me.
I stayed away from things that causes stress. Like cold shower, scary movies, etc.
So nagbasa ko ng ways to make yourself become more resilient. Ayun nga, cold showers daw and putting yourself in uncomfortable scenarios. I want to train myself to be mentally tougher.
