Olah..

That is why I don't add my officemates on FB ('yung madalas kong maka-trabaho), because I don't want to see my other side/half--siguro some, but not all.

The professional thing to do is find a friend, partner, confidant, etc. that you can rant with.

Even if you restrict your posts, even if you choose who you're friends with, anything that's on the internet is public (pwede makuha info one way or the other) and might be used against you. Don't risk it😏

There are some companies who are actually strict with these behaviours. Especially those  who're so concerned with the company's image. Which is why it is actually advisable to have two accounts one for your personal rants and the other for your professional side.

Just recently, an officemate of mine got suspended because of this.

Aside from being unprofessional, it's not a smart move to post something negative that is work-related. Even if you're not friends with that person or you already put some restrictions, someone can take a screenshot of your post and rat you out.

I once worked at a company that we are not even allowed to post pictures taken inside the office. Kung group picture yan with officemates, dapat may consent ng lahat ng tao sa photo to post it anywhere on the internet.

Also, this might impact future job prospects. You never know, HRs in companies that you apply for may be searching you in the internet.

^same here, as much as possible no selfie pictures at the work area kasi might turn off the potential clients.

a colleague of mine once made 'parinig' about me but i kept my cool. i was new that time and she just randomly hates people with class. ;D ayun, nakarating din si management pero hindi naman sya na confront but it affected her image. now the management sees me more as a leader type unlike this gossiping colleague na mahilig mag rant sa facebook.

even if there's no warning from the HR, ranting about the management/officemates might affect your work image.

For me, okay lang siguro once or twice pero wag naman sobrang blunt to the point na masisira image ng company. Saka kung everyday magra-rant sa Facebook why don't they just quit and find a better job.

Not just FB but social media in general, forums included. It's in poor taste, even if the person hides behind a pseudonym. I keep thinking, "Why would anyone even want to hire you if you keep whining about your job?"
