Gusto ko lang buhayin ang thread na ito dahil relate ako hehe.. OFW kami ni hubby, ako 9 years, siya naman 14 years. When I got pregnant, naging turning point namin ni hubby whether to stay abroad or simulan na yung gusto namin business by hook or by crook. In the end, we decided to plunge in! Good thing wala kaming loan. Sa ngayon, mag two years na rin ang cafe namin and plano pa magtayo ng panibagong business pero inaaral pa. Tama ang tips ni sis aquacharly, create multiple streams of income. Right now, hubby is in UBER ako naman Financial Advisor sa PRU LIFE UK. Hindi madali mag business but very fulfilling. Sarap ng pakiramdam habang nasa bakasyon ka or while sleeping, kumikita ka pa rin
hi sis, nice to know your story...may I ask how did you start your cafe business? TIAisang dekada na mahigit kami dito ni hubby, gusto ko na umuwi ng pinas for good... 30% pa lang yung passive income(apartment rental) namin, sana soon madagdagan para makauwi na.
Hi sis sweet angel! ang asawa ko kasi experienced barista for more than 10 years kasi yun ang part time niya nung nasa ibang bansa pa kami then ako naman mahilig talaga magluto saka when i was flying pa, nasa first class ako so ang kasama ko talaga madalas Sky Chef namin so in a way na-expose ako lalo na kapag on ground at chef lagi kasama ko when eating out kaya malaking tulong sa aming mag-asawa when we were creating our cafe's menu. sa concept ng cafe, its a music cafe kasi DJ by profession asawa ko. kumbaga hindi kami lumayo sa passion namin. yung displays nga ng cafe, i can say 90% personal collection namin. nahirapan lang talaga kami nung una sa paghahanap ng suppliers pero nung tumatagal na nakikilala na kami, suppliers na mismo lalapit kaya makakapamili ka na ng competitive price ng items na kailangan mo. so we didn't go through any training, experience lang talaga.
