I just want to share my experience yesterday..

Since walang nagreply (LOL), I decided to go to Duty Free Fiesta mall to get my nbi clearance.

-So I arrived at 3:10pm
-Told the security guard that i have online appointment and she gave me a number
-Paid 140 processing fee to the cashier
-Wait for my number to be called, tapos when it's my turn na finger scanning & picture kaagad
-NO HIT so i got my clearance in less than 30 mins.

Prepare P5 din pala for brown envelope.

Sis, I was there sa Duty free to get my NBI clearance yesterday.  I even scolded one employee kasi I was there around 8Am and was not told that I need to log my name sa guard as this is the official "queue".  Since I was there around 8AM and my name wasn't logged, therefore I am number 156 and the others who arrived around 8:30 was logged and was given earlier number than I am! At around 9:30, they were processing number 15 so I left to go to the bank then came back around 10Am tapos number 60 na ang processing.

Around 11:45AM yesterday, some group of people came and the guard told them that cutoff na! Hindi na sila maaccommodate. So I felt bad for them as they arrived looking tired from the travel.  But then you stated na by hapon, mabilis na, parang sana, they should have told these group na hapon nalang sila pumunta next time.

Anyway, good to hear that you were able to get yours quickly.  Mine will be released by March 10 pa.  I told my mom, should have named me Khristyne para walang hit and she said, baka daw ako pa ang magalit sa kanya if she did that.  :)

Less than 20 lang kame eh.. very accommodating naman sila.

Walk in ka ba sis?

^Hi sis! Actually, hindi ako walk in.  Lahat ng nag aapply sa duty free must go through the online process.  They will not entertain walk in without online applications.  Unfortunately, they won't monitor if you are scheduled in the morning or afternoon or even you are scheduled on the same day, your chosen time and date via online won't matter anymore.

Sana ginawa nalang nila yung kagaya sa OEC na nakaprint yung application, then nakastate yung time and day mo para at least hindi basta basta pupunta nlang at pipila kahit hindi yun ang schedule na napili.  Which means, pag lahat ng applicants (pati those scheduled in the afternoon) dumating ng umaga, sa sobrang dami, 11AM pa lang they will tell newly arrived applicants na cut off na.  Then, since na process na lahat ng umaga, bigla mag oopen ng slot sa hapon for those who arrived in the afternoon! nakaka awa yung mga dumating ng noon dahil sa nag excuse sa klase or sa opisina.

What they should do is print those who are scheduled on AM, tapos as per priority sa online schedule, saka nila bibigyan ng number para fair lang.  They should never entertain those not in schedule.  Then by PM, call those who are scheduled for that particular day and time, para mamanage nila ng maigi ang dami ng tao.

The sad part is, there is still no system pagdating mo.  While the NBI office is still closed, nobody will tell the crowd to fall in line.

Back on topic, I just went to UN for my NBI clearance, pumila ako mga 1 hr but sadly may hit ako so I need to go back to get it pa. Hay ang hassle lang.

sana naman mag isip isip sila ng way para makuha rin on the same day yung may mga HIT. kung tutuusin wala naman sigurong tao na same first name, middle name and last name, age, same birthday, fingerprint and same face.

Question lang mga sis.

Two years ago kasi nag apply din ako for NBI doon pero walk-in lang.

I am hoping mas mabilis na this friday dahil nag apply na ako online eh.

Thanks in advance.

^no need na pumila ng madaling araw since nakapagpa-sked ka naman na online. Just appear on your preferred schedule and ok na yun. Last time na kumuha ako ang bilis (afternoon schedule) less than 20mins lang naasikaso na ko, sadly may HIT kaya binalikan ko pa.

Ako nakapag log in naman online sis mikaelavhan.. baka hindi ka pa nakapagpregister sa new process? Anyway may question ako baka alam niyo mga sis. Married na kasi ko and yung previous NBI registration ko is under my maiden name. wala namang option to change my information sa website bago ko mag  renew. Paano na? Do I just get an NBI clearance under my maiden  name? Is there no option to get an NBI clearance under my married name? Thanks mga sis!
