mga sis try ninyo sa Binondo mura rin naman mga amulet or mga bracelet dun, depende nga lang sa mga stone na gagamitin nila. pede rin kasi magpa customize sa kanila.

orig ba yung bago kong binili? talaga bang mas shiny red na ang corals ngayon kesa sa corals noon? sa tindahan kasi (Mayfair Ongpin) , ganyan shades ng red ang tinda. meron mas light red pero hindi nalalayo diyan sa nabili ko. mas mura yung lighter shades

^ parang di ako convinced na 8500 php yung red corals kasi para iba tingin ko dun sa mga nakita ko. Pero sana mali ako kasi mahal pa naman pagka buy mo sana authentic nga talaga yan sis.

About ongpin/quiapo takot ako bumili doon. Kung gagastos na rin lang naman ako ng more or less 10k.

Anyway, nalilito pa rin ako kung ano bibilihin ko but sure na gusto ko ng rose quartz. nag reresearch pa ako kung pano malalaman kung ano authentic sa fake.

ang hahaba ng strands ng corals nila doon eh. nabasa ko dito rare na ang authentic red corals so bakit kaya dami nila stocks doon.. by weight nila binebenta.

Meron siya na isa pa pero bilog bilog naman at ang color is dark red na intense. Sabi ng tita ko may test silang ginagawa para malaman kung authentic maliban sa pag use ng milk, vinegar...

Pag minagnify mo, dapat may texture siya na parang wood or wood grain! Yung iba may itim itim pa.

sa Binondo kami bumibili ni hubby yung binili ko kasi before yearly lang inauupdate yung mga stones kung ano ang dapat ilagay depende sa forecast mo that year.  My hubby sign is a boar so may mga inilagay na parang allies niya or kung baga kakampi niya during this year of the water snake conflict kasi sa Boar sign.  Marami sa Binondo kung mangagaling kayo sa may Binondo church diretsohin na lang ninyo yung road na yun marami na dung nagtitinda, mag canvass rin kayo kasi minsan may mga tumataga talaga ng presyo.

m_lim, my mom gave my baby corals bracelet that is similar to your old one, pero i think a little bit bigger ang corals, basta 6.6 grams ang weight, and it cost Php 21k from her jewelry suki supplier.

hi sis missreese. i am a Pig too. just got my charms from Ms. Joy Lim the other day. Red Rubies, Green Jades and Emeralds for vitality, health and wealth. 2013 will be a good year for Pigs. Avoid sapphires.

I went to Charms and Crystals at Festival Mall and asked for a Topaz stone/bead. The saleslady showed me a bead which cost Php 250. I'm hesitant to buy it because I'm scared it might be a fake. Could anyone give me an assurance/warning?

Also have a pair of earrings bought from a stall named Axia in the said mall. The saleslady claimed it to be Topaz but it was only Php 150. I don't have an idea on how much Topaz costs. So I need help from you.

hi sis little_princess, it actually depends on the type of bracelet/ charms stones that you get. the common price is 8,800 and that comes with the consultation already with Ms. Joy herself.  its factored in na. but i have some bracelets which have a higher price. i gave my mom a pure jade bangle, the price is much much higher than that.  its the consultation na hindi siguro naka factor in sa ibang nag re-resell ng bracelets/ charms.

nakita ko maraming nasa internet na sinasabi na Joy Lim bracelet yon. the thing is its hard to buy off the internet. the only sure way to determine if a stone is genuine or not is if you are able to "feel" it.  malamig sa wrist ang crystal. ang plastic ay hindi. i learned this from a chinese trader of pure jade dragons.

if you want a consult, one really needs to wait sa shop niya, mahaba ang pila especially now just before chinese new year. but its better to have a consult so that you know what you are getting and the bracelet becomes customized for you.  halimbawa, my friend wants love this year so usually you would get rose quartz for love.  but aside from love, she really wants marriage and the guy is much older -- so her bracelet had additional charms of mandarin ducks, two fishes and the animal sign of the guy (ox) she wants to marry. 

kung serious ang mga sisses to learn about feng shui, si Lillian Too ay maganda ang mga books. kaya lang once you read Lillian Too parang napakarami mong bibilhin na cures talaga. and the cures are not cheap. Lillian Too's outlets are the "World of Feng Shui" outlets sa mgs SM malls. you can also get charms/ bracelets and cures there.  the other year i read Lillian Too's book and got all her recommended cures! grabe ka-mahal!  it seemed there was still something wrong.  only to realize after consulting with Ms Joy na there is something super duper bad pala sa house namin.  our toilet/ bathroom and our kitchen/ stove were placed in our wealth sectors! so all our luck was being "flushed down the drain" or "burned"! nakupo hindi namin alam ang mga ganung aspect ng feng shui.

pero from experience, iba po talaga si Ms. Joy. sa consultation, she will base her recommendations on your circumstance.  so like me, i'm a Pig and my husband is a Tiger -- Pigs and Tigers are secret friends so iba ang maaring bracelet ko compared to kung halimbawa Snake ang husband ko kasi the Pig sign and the Snake sign are "enemies" in feng shui.  sometimes we pass by her shop just to speak with her. she has such a positive energy. in fact, my husband and the husband of my barkada are also hooked na din and goes with us to wait for Ms. Joy hehe

Ang mamahal naman pala talaga ng authentic crystals, siguro yung mga nasa sm malls fake din yun noh? kasi 150 to 250 lang po ang mga bracelets nila made of stones like jade, citrine, tiger's eye etc. Pero bakit ganun mabigat yung mga bracelets nila saka malamig din?

actually may mga authentic stones that you would be able to get in Greenhills and Binondo (not so sure about festival mall) at a lower price. authentic naman din. however, sigurado ako na walang jade na 250 only i went to Binondo last year, sa Dragon Phoenix and was about to buy the bracelets they were selling at 250 kasi ang gaganda.  it was the tindera who pulled me aside and warned me. nakita niya kasi charms/bracelet ko from CC, so sabi niya sa akin "mam dito po sa kabilang estante ang mga genuine, plastic po yang 250". thats the only time i realized that some of the stones being sold are not really stones/ authentic.

 Dragon Phoenix is along Ongpin St. the price of their authentic crystals is arond 6,800 average last year. di ko lang sure this year. you might want to try doon. i did not buy from there, nag inquire lang ako. look for Ms. Jean the owner para makapag consult kayo sa kanya before buying the bracelet. she is a young chinese girl.

loyal lang po talaga ako kay Ms Joy Lim kasi tried and tested na namin ang kanyang mga binigay sa amin and hindi nakakahiyang irekomenda siya. 

its the feng shui stuff analysis which i am not sure we can get when we buy the stones from those who are retailing them pero are not feng shui consultants.  feng shui is an ancient art na inaaral din nila. sa hongkong, all business people really go for FS consults specially before the chinese new year. i think what makes the CC stones a bit more pricey is because you could have a consultation --- ang usual rate ng FS consultant kapag pumunta sa house mo or place of business is ususally 50,000 pesos minimum iniisip ko na lang 8,800 is much cheaper than 50.
