best dsl connection

Hi sisters. I need a really good dsl connection to manage my online job. PLDT mydsl isn't available in my area, unfortunately. Any other suggestions?

I guess depende yan sa location mo.  There are places na maganda ang connection ng Smart, may iba naman na okay ang Globe.  I suggest you survey around your location kung anong mas ok na broadband connection.

if you have the option to choose sky broadband or bayantel, choose them na lang. they've got great service. believe me you'd regret subscribing for pldt rin. but the best pa rin to ask are your neighbors.

^there are times na down and sky, pero ina-adjust nila yun sa bill kaya kahit papaano napapakalma nila ako before. hehe! pero now with bayantel, it's so much better. and pldt sucks talaga. super!

munoz ako. 999 ang 1Mbps ng bayantel. walang landline yan. 10pm-6am ginagawa nilang 1.5 Mbps pero you have to reset.

if you don't have access to bayantel, sky na siguro ang next best. is there another?

sky nga rin daw magandang dsl.. pero kapag nagpakabit ako bayan dsl nalang kase marami rin nagsabi na OK sila sa customer service unlike PLDT.

OT: ano gamit nyo na pang back-up na broadband?

^meron akong smart broadband and sun broadband. mas gusto ko yung sun kasi walang expiry yung mga load nya. pero kung sa speed ng connection or whatever else, hindi ko sure.

Checked with Globe earlier, since we are interested to get the WIMAX kaso daw naka depend lang daw sa signal ang WIMAX at recomended nila pa rin ang line so we are comparing between Globe Tattoo or Sun Broadband the one naka line, hopefully makakuha kami ng mabilis na connection sa place namin para sa homebased job.

Overview lang ng kaso ko with wi-tribe

We subscribed sa wi-tribe last year mga around August since it took Smartbro months before they could fix our antenna na nasira because of a typhoon. So may free trial banner outside our village, contacted the agent and had the unit with us for a week for free trial, it was okay nung una, when I signed the contract and paid, dun na nagsimula lumitaw ang intermittent connection, strange.

It went on for about 4 months, called their hotline several times and wasted so much airtime charges for it only to be given the same reason -- we live in cavite and there are no established wi-tribe sites here yet which explains the intermittent connection, they dont advise pa daw na magapply na agad ang mga residents in cavite for a plan with wi-tribe, e anubeh, pano naapprove yung application ko kung hindi pa pala pwede diba? and bakit sila merong mga banners around our area kung di pa pala talaga dapat covered, right?

pero sa umaga okay ang connection, sa gabi lang nagkakanda-loko loko. Nung sobrang napuno na ko, I asked them to terminate my contract, they asked me if i can look for anyone who can take over the contract nalang. Ang labo, how can I recommend the service to someone na ako nga mismo ay hindi satisfied diba?

Until we found a thread in tipid pc that covers yung mga clients na hindi satisfied with the service, actually they also have a facebook page (search Wi-tribe complaints) and all other dissatisfied customers are there to help everyone who wishes to terminate their contract.

So after reading all the messages there, I didnt pay my bills, ang nabayaran ko lang talaga is yung unang payment which was 3k if im not mistaken. Bill blew up to almost 15k because I chose the 3k plan per month, nakareceive ako ng letter from a collection agency (law firm sya somewhere in taguig) demanding me to settle my dues blah blah. I didnt budge. Dahil sa thread ng Wi-tribe sa tipid pc and sa facebook, we found out na may pending case pala itong Wi-Tribe sa NTC, and oras na hindi ka satisfied sa service nila you can tell them outright na ipullout ang unit, wala kang babayaran, not even a single peso. Wi tribe is guilty of this, they cant even send someone to pull out the unit dito sa bahay, mag-iisang taon nang nabubulok sa bodega yung unit. haha!

ako sis one year na nga ako sa witribe. paano ko kaya irereklamo to? actually maganda naman siya kaya lang parang hindi ko lang nakukuha yung 1mb na binabayaran ko.. parang nakakaloko lang sila.. hay.. try ko magreklamo at pag di nila nasolve eh didiretso ako sa ntc.

^ you dont need to go directly sa NTC sis, madaya talaga sila and you cant really maximize what you are paying for. yan nga ang major issue nila eh. you can ask them to terminate the service if gusto mo na iterminate nila.

sis i terminated my witribe already. I went to their office, filed complain and twice ako nagpunta and aminado sila na they don't have a good signal sa area namin. hay.. ano kaya kukunin ko? maganda ba talaga ang bayantel? kasi sabi ng mga friends namin globe daw is maganda..
