^ I used to be a wi-tribe subscriber and I didnt pay a single cent after I asked them to terminate my contract.
Overview lang ng kaso ko with wi-tribe
We subscribed sa wi-tribe last year mga around August since it took Smartbro months before they could fix our antenna na nasira because of a typhoon. So may free trial banner outside our village, contacted the agent and had the unit with us for a week for free trial, it was okay nung una, when I signed the contract and paid, dun na nagsimula lumitaw ang intermittent connection, strange.
It went on for about 4 months, called their hotline several times and wasted so much airtime charges for it only to be given the same reason -- we live in cavite and there are no established wi-tribe sites here yet which explains the intermittent connection, they dont advise pa daw na magapply na agad ang mga residents in cavite for a plan with wi-tribe, e anubeh, pano naapprove yung application ko kung hindi pa pala pwede diba? and bakit sila merong mga banners around our area kung di pa pala talaga dapat covered, right?
pero sa umaga okay ang connection, sa gabi lang nagkakanda-loko loko. Nung sobrang napuno na ko, I asked them to terminate my contract, they asked me if i can look for anyone who can take over the contract nalang. Ang labo, how can I recommend the service to someone na ako nga mismo ay hindi satisfied diba?
Until we found a thread in tipid pc that covers yung mga clients na hindi satisfied with the service, actually they also have a facebook page (search Wi-tribe complaints) and all other dissatisfied customers are there to help everyone who wishes to terminate their contract.
So after reading all the messages there, I didnt pay my bills, ang nabayaran ko lang talaga is yung unang payment which was 3k if im not mistaken. Bill blew up to almost 15k because I chose the 3k plan per month, nakareceive ako ng letter from a collection agency (law firm sya somewhere in taguig) demanding me to settle my dues blah blah. I didnt budge. Dahil sa thread ng Wi-tribe sa tipid pc and sa facebook, we found out na may pending case pala itong Wi-Tribe sa NTC, and oras na hindi ka satisfied sa service nila you can tell them outright na ipullout ang unit, wala kang babayaran, not even a single peso. Wi tribe is guilty of this, they cant even send someone to pull out the unit dito sa bahay, mag-iisang taon nang nabubulok sa bodega yung unit. haha!
