Pangit sa Informatics. Mismong boss ko ang naka-experience sa Informatics, nag-enroll sya for basic adobe photoshop. Minsan daw tinuturuan pa nya yung instructor kung pano mag-open ng file etc. Informatics megamall branch ito and they lack customer service.

sis javazrcipt, thanks for the input. PLF din ang kukunin kong course sa MFI after that saka na lang ako magde-decide kung Java, C++ or Oracle ang isusunod ko.

mga sis okay ba MFI sa mga programming courses? based sa experience ko with hardware okay ang program nila   :D pero i just want to check if okay din ang programming.

c and c++ lang alam ko dati at nalimutan ko na  ;D

problem ko na lang is time for a short course, i hope meron pa sila class during saturdays?  ;D

thanks

^^ sis blue_jade

try to check the website of MFI, they have their schedules there. For me, being a student of MFI, since i took the PLF, ok naman ang programming nila. Imagine PLF, (as in basics pa lang) tuturuan ka ng basic programming, ewan ko lang sa pag programming courses na, like C++, Java, Oracle. I believe ok naman sila, compared sa informatics, saka tutok pati sila sa estudyante since konti lang kayo sa isang class.

Basic Photoshop ba sis? I don't know any school that offers this short course aside from First Academy of Computer Arts, it's located at Makati though.

There are lots of free PS tutorial online especially at LJ. You can look there if you aren't able to see a school near you. I learned a lot from those LJ users and their affiliates.

i attended a 1-day training of Photoshop somewhere in makati, for just 1,000 pesos, dami ko natutunan. magaling yung nagtuturo, it's just a charity bootcamp, 2:1 ang ratio ng computer to students, but it's ok, kase magkakaturuan kayo ng kashare mo.

this is for those na restricted ang budget.

just search sa google, "charity computer bootcamp photoshop" and look at the results, i think he (henry ong) has advertisement posts in sulit and tipidpc.com. yung sa sulit, inactive na advertisement nya pero click nyo lang yun view.

highly recommended coz he's really good in teaching. medyo mas ok nga lang if may basic ka ng alam kahit paano para masundan coz medyo sa 2nd half ng training mabilisan na due to time constraint. CS3 na kunin nyo, he's one of the beta testers ng Adobe.

he teaches Flash, Dreamweaver, Corel, Illustrator and Basic Networking too.

note too that minsan di nasusunod yung schedule, contact nyo na lang sya.

i attended corel and photoshop courses and both were okay.

masyado kase ako namamahalan sa tuition fee ng mga schools kaya naghanap ako ng alternative, i saw his ad at tipidpc

Ok thanks. I'll check your recommendations when I have time. I'm busy now kasi. Probably during summer I'll have more time to study Photoshop.

so far ito lahat ng nabanggit na schools. pwede po ba magtanong ng tuition fees? wala kasi nakalagay sa website at wala pa akong time puntahan yung schools mismo. TIA  :D ;D ;D

any idea how much ang fee sa phoenix-one?
kaso mukang hindi rin magffit sa schedule ng work yung corporate training nila, sana meron silang sched na every weekend lang or kahit evening sched like in mfi.

thanks.

i came from informatics.. sa sucat branch nila.. siguro depende sa mga instructors dun. kasi dun sa sucat branch (nung time na andun pa ako) competent naman sila. alam naman nila kung anong tinuturo nila. ewan ko lang sa ibang centers nila.
Always end the day with a positive thought and a grateful heart.

I will say that Mapua IT Center is one of the good school.

isa pa MAPUA is also known.

Pero depende rin kung [textspeak!] pag-aaralan mo kasi if you what to learn Java pwede sa SUN Microsystem ka mag-aral medyo mahal pero worth naman yung price.

Check the web who is the company developed the software minsan kasi meron silang office dito offering short courses on those.

Yun lang po at sana makatulong ako
