^oo nga. short courses na muna kukunin ko sa meralco. i'll start in a couple of months maybe. right now, nagbabasa lang muna ako ng mga books.

ang maganda sa mfi kasama sa tuition fee yung book. depende yata sa course, pero hindi lang ordinary books. yung malalaking hardbound books by cisco press, microsoft press or sybex na ang mamahal kung bibilin mo sa labas.

oi thank you. i found it. kaya lang hesitant pa rin ako mag apply as programmer trainee. as ive mentioned in my previous posts, hindi ako IT grad but had an experience in programming kaya lang more than 2 years ago pa yun. yung language na gamit ko (VB6) halos obsolete na. kaya mas ideal siguro na kuha muna ako ng short course. what do you think?

Ako rin di IT grad pero gusto ko pumasok sa industry na yan. Ngayon naman naguguluhan ako kung anong field (network administration, software devt. etc)... Magbabasa na lang muna ko ng ebooks, gauge ko muna kung alin pinaka interesting for me...baka kumuha ako short course habang work. Pero kung sswertehin sa IT company na nagooffer na ng training edi mas okey.

oi share ko lang. Phoenix one is looking for programmer trainees. saw their ad in jobstreet. dba eto din yung school na nag ooffer ng short training courses. im really interested to apply kaya lang review pa ako ng math para sa exam. nakalimutan ko na kasi. hehe

you can try your luck in some IT companies that are offering programmer trainee position. some companies accept trainees who are non-IT grads. kelangan mo lang ipasa ang exam. ano BSA? Accountancy? siguro SAP pwede sa yo

CISCO is not programming but more of network engineering, TCP/IP addressing, LAN and their implementation...

JAVA, SQL, PHP are programming languages.. just read the news na binili na ng Oracle ang MySQL.. more of open source programming kasi ito..
