BRANDED ka ba?

jeans - yes. kasi local brands dont fit me well. Nagkakataon yung jeans that fit me (i have curvy hips and small waist) are from levi's, gap and i have a couple from diesel. Investment na lang siguro since it's rare to find jeans that fit you perfectly.

i have to agree with sis fashion_addict, i am not for those items that scream the brand. Subtle lang.

Branded watches - YES. yan talaga. Parang i think of it as an investment or something that would appreciate in value in the next years

shoes not so much. really depends on how you use it and how often you use it. I think sabi ng iba, dont use the same pair ng magkasunod na araw, let the shoe breathe. heheh

nung sa manila pa ako nakatira, di ako bumibili talaga ng branded. mahal eh. sayang pera.
kung anong meron ako na branded noon eh malamang regalo lang.
medyo mahilig kasi sa branded ang pinoy.

ngayon na sa sydney na ako nakatira, at sobrang walang pakialamanan ang tao dito, deadma na lalo ako sa tatak.

nung sinuot ko nga yung philip charriol ko na bracelet dito parang nagtataka sila kung anong tatak daw yun. di nila kilala. basta dito maganda kahit mura, ok na.

haven't bought anything from sm lately so i can't say for sure. but yeah, i think we sort of convince ourselves that since we're paying that much for something, we should be getting quality. but that's not always the case.

but i like how lacoste would put it. a simple crocodile logo says a lot.

same goes for ralph lauren sana but the new lines of shirts have the big polo man. screaming polo. i like the classic shirts better na small logo lang.

i only invest on bags, shoes, jeans - 'cause if you got all (3) items branded, the rest will follow

clothes - local brands. kasi mas fit sakin yung mga tahi dito kesa sa imported. at okay din naman ang quality.  di ako nabili sa mga tutuban/divi/baclaran kasi ito yung mga "disposable"  ambilis masira. o baka di lang ako marunong tumingin?  hehe

footwear - mix, local and imported.  basta maganda sa mata and within reach ng budget.  once bumili ako ng china made na shoes (imitation) andaling masira eh, sayang money. di na talaga ako bibili nun

makeup - mas okay sakin ang imported, kasi mas long lasting

hair,bath and body care -- local.  mas hiyang ako sa mga products formulated dito satin.

Depende talaga.Sometimes may damit na mahal pero gustong-gusto mo kasi  ang ganda ng fit at quality.May mura naman na maganda rin ang fit at medyo ok ang quality.Depende rin sa mood.hahaha.

Nope. Basta nice ang fit laban na yan. Wag lang yung mga loud printed shirts na nakatatak brands nila. Basta bagay ok na yan. Pero sa shoes ibang usapan yan. hehe

Unabashedly yes because   I don't want to spend my money on something that doesn't have a track record.  I  buy  local and  international brands.  Sometimes, I get tempted to buy  stuff  sa tiangge,  and  I give in, knowing that ilang beses lang na gamitan  and  ipapamigay na sa household help.

For gowns and formal wear,  I  have them custom made.  No other better way.

When I was there sa PI, it's a mix of branded and hindi.  But when I left for the US, more on brand names na din ako.  That's because I rely more on the quality, that's where I put my money into. Also, it's a form of reward na rin for myself since I'm working hard naman.

jeans/bags/shoes/wallets/watches: yes, brand conscious ako.  specifically dito sa US, maraming brands na magaganda ang quality but you have to spend a bit more.  but the thing is, matibay sila and very nice ang fit. kumbaga, worth the money naman so di nakakapanghinayang dahil matagal ko rin naman gagamitin di ba.

tops/bottoms/small accessories: not so, meron branded meron hindi.  depende sa quality and kung may sale syempre. 

make-up/skincare:  yes, i rely on 1 brand only. i've been using it for 5 years now and very satisfied naman ako so it's worth the money also.

FASHION ADDICT -- yeah, it is more of desiring a brand coz it is more comfortable, more mileage in terms of repeated use (so better ROI).  NOT because it should define us.  Horrors!

(With kids -- do you have kids?  Branded shoes of course, coz we cannot risk ill-developed feet.  For clothes -- so- so since well, they grow so fast! Atchaka they look sooo cute, even if you go SM only.  LOL  So where is the investment there? 
But toys must be branded coz these meet safety standards.)

Sometimes, FASHION ADDICT --  I cannot appreciate the disdain of people towards brands or branded products that a lot of people own or aspire for.  hmmm. Don't we all take more or less the same vitamins and use similar/same make-up/personal products/brands?   
But when it comes to bags! LOL
If you can get a handle on a man's character by the way he gambles (sabi ng lola ko) -- eh, nowadays, you can get a handle on a woman's personality by looking at what bags she owns, how she handles these, how she finances her purchases, and how she relates to other women based on what bags these other women possess?  LOL

i don't mind having unbranded things as long as i like the style and the comfort it gives. maliban na lang pag dating sa bags. yun yung one thing na hindi ko kaya i-carry ng alam kong fake..

Marami naman kasing magaganda ang quality pero reasonable price lang.

If you can get a handle on a man's character by the way he gambles (sabi ng lola ko) -- eh, nowadays, you can get a handle on a woman's personality by looking at what bags she owns, how she handles these, how she finances her purchases, and how she relates to other women based on what bags these other women possess?  LOL

well, not all men gamble lol. in the same way that not all women like bags that much. so it's kinda off to be saying that you can define a person by these things. from experience, my fascination with bags was the most short-lived of all my interests and fashion-wise, possibly the most useless if i think about how happy or how stylish it makes me. what i also noticed is that the people whose styles i truly admire aren't major baghags so i suppose, we all gravitate towards certain crowds talaga. we don't aspire the same things and again, personally, there is a limit for me ha, for me lang, as to how much things should cost. for instance, the only designer bag that i truly respect is the chanel flap but i would gladly puke on karl's face and the people behind chanel. but that's just me.

if it's really live and let live, then i suppose we should begin to appreciate that people have varied ideas of what's reasonable and what's not.

with clothes not really...basta i like what i see yun na yun.i buy from the ramp in glorietta and archeology in powerplant (yay for filipino designers) as well as topshop, zara, american apparel and urban outfitters.

bags definitely branded,especially brands with history, tradition and process...feeling ko i'm carrying a little bit of history with me

may price limit ako when it comes to shoes kasi feeling ko madaling mapudpud,so sayang lang but they have to be comfy (i'm on my feet a lot).

jeans the only brands i like are topshop/moto and viktors.feeling ko yun lang bagay kasi i'm petite (as in) with a big butt.

with watches i stick to branded ones because i know that they will last a long time...

like aquacharly, i stay away sa mga sumisigaw na brands..mas type ko quiet luxury...
