Any tips for maximizing muscle recovery?

From my training experience recovery is one of the most important things for getting stronger.

Some generic tips I already know are

*doing full body workouts instead of splits

*eating a lot

*stretching

*cardio

Comment anything that has been helpful to you whether its foam rolling, ice baths etc I'm curious to know.

Chocolate milk as a post workout drink. It aids in muscle recovery.
