ang hirap pala mamili ng tiles, nakakahilo sa sobrang dami..we decided to get the fino brand na 60 x 60 for the 1st and 2nd floors, 189 pesos each...parang mura na, but nung nagcompute kami, umabot din ng 28k for the 1st floor pa lang, excluding cement/grout and labor cost pa yan...ang gastos pala  :'( for the rooms naman, the tiles cost around 150 each, fino din ata...grabe napakagastos talaga magpagawa ng bahay :o

RE: VINYL Tiles

Thanks in advance.

^depende kase sa floor area and preference mo. But for our 20sqm living room, we got 60x60 tiles mas maganda tignan.

Nakakalaki tignan ng space ang large tiles and halos same price naman sila of per sq ft mo compute. Kaya I went din with 60x60 tiles. Yung larger than that talaga yung mas mahal na.

hi mga sis!

I am planning to change our floor tiles to granite na kasi yung original na nakalagay from our developer is sobrang hindi maganda and not glossy so madumi tingnan at hindi maganda ang pagkabit.hayyy! anyway,  I am considering kahit china made since medyo affordable pa siya compared to others. okay ba quality ng china made granite tiles? also, how much usually charge if magpapakabit ng tiles ngayon? wala akong idea e baka pagnagtanong ako sa carpenter baka dayain ako. thanks in advance!

Hi sis, pwedeng per day or ikontrata yung labor... Kaso mas mahal pag kontrata.. Last time nagpapalit kami ng tiles, 400 per day, pero iisa lang syang gumawa, 5 days... Tapos pag nagrequest ng helper, 250 per day lang bayad namin... Sabi ng ibang nakwentuhan ko, mura na daw yung ganong singil...

As for the labor for tiles settings - I think minimum would be 500 a day, problem mo would be if arawan siya and how big the area would be, kase baka lalo kang mapamahal. Unless, you would agree on a specific end-date.

So I opted to get the "pakyawan" - sort of getting a specific contract price for it. (e.g. 20,000Php for 1 week on a 20sqm), but we asked around cause the 20k quote provided by the contractor was too high for me considering they just had to remove the vinyl floorings and set the new tiles.

if you are near Silang Cavite I suggest buy kayo sa Eurotiles factory. may class A B and C. ok na din kahit class B and C buy nyo. yung gilid lang naman yun may problema like hindi masyado pantay pero di naman masyado obvious. nag si sale din dila kaya mura bumili sa kanila

^^ Our guest toilet is very small and I don't want it to feel small. I decided to re-tile it with bigger tiles. Bumili ako sa Mariwasa ng big, matte gray tiles. Naka-sale sya so I got it for P60+ lang per tile. Total cost ko lang is P8k, kasama na labor.

Hi! though this thread started 4 years ago would still like to update you on what I've found. Currently, Floor Center is having year-end sale on their tiles, all ceramics by the way so be sure to head on one of their branches since they are all over the Philippines or check it out on their site at floorcenter.com. Be sure to give them a visit and find the best floor tiles for your home at affordable prices.
