Hello Everyone!

November 2020 bride here :)

My fiance and I are both based in California and we're planning to have our wedding in Manila.  Anyone here familiar with Kiss the Girl Events? Are they good? any good reviews about them? I saw their instagram account and so far, all I see are good reviews but of course it's their ig account..I asked my friends in manila and they are not familiar (or never heard)...I badly need a coordinator/planner, someone who can also help me conceptualize since I'm not very creative! How about La belle? Or Events by Thoffy?

HEL
haven't booked any supplier yet, except for Nelwin Uy!!

I'd go with Thoffy! Worked with him and he's awesome!

Hello again! I hope mas maging active pa ang 2020 brides here, nakakatuwa kasi magbasa ng mga recommendations and experiences from everyone 😊

June 2020 bride here! 10 months to go!

We're booked in St. James the Great Alabang for the ceremony and Palazzo Verde for the reception. Almost all major and minor suppliers nabook na namin kasi medyo excited ako from engagement in 2018. 😅

Anyone attended a reception in Palazzo Verde recently? Meron parin bang complaints about sounds/ music na rinig from one half of the area to the another? Yun kasi nabasa ko na negative about the venue, na rinig daw ang events from the next area. 🥺

Also thinking about getting add-on string lights (the bigger outdoors-y lights) for design pero ang mahal ng mga quotation ng suppliers. So baka magdiscuss nalang kami ng design upgrade with Josiah's Catering.

Happy preps!

Hi, GT Brides!
I was once in one of these threads, sa 2014 Brides, hihi. Now it is my time to return as a wedding supplier this time. :-*

Mga sis, if you're looking for someone to write you spoken word poetry, a narrative for your Save The Date videos, or for your SDEs, or content writing for your invitations, I am offering my services at an affordable rate. I am a writer and a performance poet (spoken word poet), and I currently accept requests such as those I mentioned above.

Yung ibang clients ko for weddings, usually ang pinapagawa ay spoken word poetry tapos they record it and submit it sa Photo and Video suppliers to include in their Save The Date vids or SDEs as voice overs. For any inquiries, you can email me at mermaidzeli@gmail.com or message me here or in FB.

Here's one of the love poems I wrote for reference:
https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fyoutu.be%2FxKdhhHCAGB0%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0uQhMxqf5OWMhLwLSliG9vHh2yLQIVw2Nx5DkjfRlic6EZdCf322tGBII&h=AT0y4zMi98f58Lshbr4ZIKdLiKchnRqdUL8mP4IHzVPz5ywaGb2kVEMeFwRFkqu00GULYxHN6uGuRb_IFWYgbg2-yAw725ZZyVZpbJrj-dgv39P58V4IzTQ4oe6Kd8RAdpWKGQwZ43mda4Y

I have lots of written prose and poems din on my FB account, feel free to read, those are in public under Dzeli Del Mundo.♡ I'd be happy to be part of your Bride journey! Thankies, mga sis! :-*

Hi everyone, Any antipolo brides to be here? I'm getting married on April 4 2020,

I was able to get a weekend slot at PIHM. May nagbackout so I grabbed it. So happy! My theme is rustic garden, and gusto ko simple lang lahat.
I am also a wedding supplier so mejo madali na yung selection of choices for me.  I' choosing those whom Ive worked with na.

Right now I am looking for a affordable reception venues: Here are my choices and some on my shortlist:
L' Aquinium - good package with catering
Firefly Ridge - perfect place for a garden setup, though hindi pa fully constructed yung place. It's  1 minute away from the venue.
Jardin de Marimar - nice garden, I'm just not excited over the corkage on photographers and coordinators.
Mango Farm - nice, but too expensive for me, considering mejo malayo na sya sa ceremony venue

Anyone attending the Weddings & Beyond Bridal fair this weekend? I used to participate in expos like this. Now, I'm a bride! :)

Good luck to us!

Buti ka pa sis nakakuha ka ng weekend slot in pihm. Super full pala talaga magreserve dyan. Just inquired last month for a possible Oct. 10 wedding sana and fully booked agad ang weekends of October. Ended up booking the Pedro Calungsod Parish (due September this year) for our 10.10.20 wedding :)

Pano ba mag plan without being a bridezilla haha. Simple lang kasi ako but my family is expecting much from me. Gusto church wedding & invited lahat. Kung ako lang masusunod, I prefer civil (garden) wedding with only 30-40 guests. Sa food na lang itodo ang budget. I want Cibo di M (by Margarita Fores) and Naked Patisserie. Tsaka wedding singer. And that?s it. Pwede na sila umuwi after 2 hours. Haha.

Foreigner kasi si bf and alam nyo naman culture natin sa Pinas porket puti ang jowa yayamanin. Humility aside, we have a budget for everything pero I was raised poor and so I?m frugal. Ayoko ng 500k spending in 1 day. Siguro max na yung 200k for 30-40 guests. Since we?re not based in the Philippines anymore iniisip ko naman bongga na lang yung wedding parang family reunion na rin pero most of those family members hindi ko naman nakakausap na. So what should a girl do? 😅

^Your wedding your rules. Kayo ni future hubby dapat masunod since kayo ang gagastos sa kasal ninyo. Siguro set a separate simple party nalang para sa hindi invited before or after your actual wedding. That?s what my cousin did nung kasal niya.
If a girl understands your b******t, stick through your mistakes, smiles even when you've done nothing for her , it's obvious she's a keeper. But it's also obVious that you don't deserve her...

I agree with mysterioza_me. Don't give in to pressure. The planning process should be fun (perhaps with manageable stress). It can be stressful lang naman when you'd opt for something na 1.) di achievable talaga with your circumstances (for example, sourcing in PH or also budget) and 2.)  not enough help from your partner and friends. So I guess, wag mong solohin haha ask your partner or assign him some responsibilities din. By doing that, you'll get to know him better pa.

You can also visit my blog at www.thehandsongroom.com I hope you can get some tips in planning your wedding.

Happy preps!

Cheers,

Lau
