Hello ladies!

I've just read the '2019 Brides' thread and may '2020 Brides' na rin pala! Shocks! *panic mode*
We got engaged last December lang and we wanted to push the wedding last quarter of this year sana.  Pero siguro if hindi kaya, first quarter of 2020 na lang. What do you guys think? Wala pa kaming nasisimulan!  :o

We might attend the bridal fair this weekend. Ang bilis naman ng araw! Hahaha!

*pwede ba magpareserve sa church a year prior to the actual wedding?

To answer your question sis, oo naman :) pwede ka na magpareserve ng church ng ganyang kaaga. we reserved our church Sept 2016 (days right after we got engaged) and got married last oct 2017 :) para din okay yung makuha mong slot esp. the date and time. may mga church kasi na ilang weddings yung inaaccommodate nila within the day kaya better na mas maaga :) opinion lang naman. hope makatulong :D

Got proposed to 7days ago pero nagpareserve na kame ng church 1st week ng January this week.

Yas  2020 bride here too.

Thank you 😊.
Weekday pinili namin para makatipid hehe.

sassy_gal18 wowww 2020 ka rin. Congrats!

Huhu.
Unting tao= mas intimate at matipid.

Hi,

Ask ko [textspeak!] kung my nkaattend na ng wedding sa The Greenery? Any reviews? More or less kc bka dun ang venue nmen since my malapit dn na church. Plan nmen na date for wedding is Dec 2020. Both kameng working abroad ni h2b so ngaun palang nghahanap nako ng possible venue pra mkpgocular visit kpg ngbakasyon kme this year.

Any suggestion po?

Thank you!  :)

Hello, fellow 2020 brides! ^^ Any reviews on Randy Lazaro the event stylist? Baka you have friends who had him as the ES? Also, if you know his styling rates, is it okay to share it here? :) TIA!

Hello!
I'm a newbie and this is my very first post haha

Also a 2020 (OFW) bride so nakakastress that I can't do anything but read and read muna.

Just to share...we're eyeing for Sitio Elena as our reception, and PIHM for the church.
I first considered seeking full coord service, kaso uncertain ako sa kalalabasan, though makakamura sana kami. Right now, we might just get an OTD coord, at si Events by Thoffy siguro cos their rates
are reasonable.

How about you ladies? Ano-ano na mga decisions nyo by this time?

^hirap sis mag start noh? Anong month wed mo sis? PIHM din ako hehe.Nakapag pa reserved palang kami ng date. Kinabahan kasi ako, punuan daw. Nagulat nga ako meron ng nagpareserved for May 2020  hehe.

For reception, we might Get Fernwood Gardens antipolo.  :)

Sis, August pa ako haha I panicked kasi ang gusto ko talaga date (August 8) was booked na! Even sa Sitio Elena. So I had to beg for my family to go and reserve for me (ibang date na nga lang but still August).

Luckily, they went last Sunday so nakakuha sila good deal with Sitio Elena and they were able to try the food of Hizon's Catering. At first, gusto ko si K by Cunanan because of the good reviews here. Pero sobra kasi laki ng price difference with Hizon's, e happy naman family ko sa food nila so baka we'll go for Hizon's.

Hi, newbie here. :)

Getting married on November 2020. And I am really torn between three venues.

Checked Marriott two weeks ago and was somehow dissatisfied. I inquired with Manila Pen and Shangri-la Fort. We are keen on booking Manila Pen but I have read some very bad reviews about the staff and their service.

Any bride here that booked one of those venues? I would really appreciate your feedback :)

March 2020 Bride!
Want to follow this thread. We're getting married in Baguio and we've already booked church, venue, event coordinator, photographer and videographer.
It felt like such a daunting task at first. I felt such anxiety just thinking about the planning but once we booked the church, reception venue and our event coordinator, I felt much more at ease.
Since we're Manila-based, we decided to do full coordination with our coordinator.

Currently on the look out for wedding gown and make up artist.

I'm a December 2020 bride pa pero yung photographer na gusto ko, booked na agad. For HMUA naman, I asked Mariah Santos but she's also already booked!

Hi all ;) Me and my bf got engaged last Feb and planning our wedding on Feb 2020. We have a chosen church already and possible venue, however, pencil booking palang naman po yun. With regards sa caterer nag attend kami ng isang grand food tasting last Sunday and agad agad we paid for 10k reservation already (was it reckless?  :\ )  I was now wondering if it was a good idea, lalo't  may nakikita akong iba and may ibang nega ako nkita regarding sa event styling ng caterer na nakuha namin. Thing is we're trying to settle things we can while I'm still here kasi I'm working abroad. And the next time i'l be back is a month prior to our big day na.  Any suggestions or tips you can give me po on what other things ang I can settle na as early as now? Also has anyone here tried the venue just behind the Mt. Carmel church? Also affordable din kasi, especially may limited budget lang kami for the wedding. Lastly, has anyone seen or availed the event styling done by Hizon's catering? Thank you po ;)
