^ Thanks! Initially we were planning to buy upright freezers pero sabi din ng taga Makro, mas  malakas daw sa kuryente ang mga uprights. Sige tingin kamisa Anson's din. :)

^ buy na ng chest freezer  :) did you receive my pm pala? contact ka lang whenever you need anything (meat matters)

I dont have an idea sa meat processing business. But on meat shop business, I sure have lots of those since ganito business namin. Aside from the pwesto ideally malapit, kung hindi man sa palengke, you should hire a butcher rin. Keep in mind that you must get someone na trusted ninyo, iyong hindi kayo lolokohin sa kilo/timbang ng ipapakatay ninyong baboy sa kanya. Weighing Scale! I highly suggest get the digital one, mas accurate ito at you do not need to calculate how much ang price ng binibili ng customer mo.

HTH!

How much yung Chest Freezer?
I'm planning to put up a meat shop business sa Province namin for my parents. I still have to check though kasi yung wet market e nilipat na sa New Market.

I am planning to open a meat shop next month. I am on the planning stage na, just bought 2 chest freezers, ipapaconvert ko na lang para sa display. I still have 2 lumang freezer so puwede na siguro yun.

Wala pa ako is the digital weighing scale-- where to buy?

update:

i put up the meatshop last june 2014, and getting better. ;)

products are: branded chicken (di puwede sabihin brand yata), processed meat (local lang), fresh meat and egg.

2 freezers, converted into display rack, and the usual equipment for meatshop, stainless sink, aircon, around 70k start up capital.

lesson learned: you must scout canteens/cafeteria and supply them your products, dont rely sa walk in customer lang, mahina ang benta sa walk in customer.

i have two school canteen na sinusupplyan daily. dun pa lang sulit na. minimum net of 1k daily na puwera yung walk in at pa order sa office.

so far so good. ;D

^it's good to know sis na your meat shop is doing well pati na rin yung ibang mga business ventures mo.

2 freezers, converted into display rack - anong ibig sabihin nito? meron kasi akong chest type na 2 doors puede rin ba yan i convert to glass top?

yeah, i mean chest freezer yun ;)

goodluck!
