Meat Processing/Meat Shop Business
« on: May 04, 2010, 04:42:31 pm »
Hi sisses! I've been thinking of meat processing as small business. kasi food is necessity and ang mga tao mahilig din naman sa tocino, longganisa, tapa, etc. anyone here na may business na ganito and how is it doing? any tips?

@angelicdevil
aside sa palengke, ang lakas niyan sa mga opisina. kaya lang since food industry, matrabaho talaga. but i'm sure it's all worth it. :)

if pork mga 10k-13k ang isang buo. plus timbangan sangkalan kutsilyo.

pero mas ok if kukuha ka part lang muna like pigue kasim liempo kaze nag sastart ka palang.

wala ako idea sa chicken and beef. mas maganda if meron ka nito pangdagdag.

HTH!

Hindi pala kalakihan ang puhunan no...kailangan lang maganda ang feasibility. Hmm, makapaghanap nga din ng location.

oo nga, mura lang puhunan. meron din ba training offered para dito? i know it may sound weird, pero yun tipong saan pwede matutunan parts ng pork and beef, paano proper way of slicing and chopping, etc (aside from expensive culinary schools)?

Hi, sis! invest ka muna sa reliable na chest freezer for starter. as for the supply, maybe we could talk. sana nasa malapit ka lang so we can do business.

@milktea, pwede mo ko i-pm about sa mga products na meron kayo? We just started our meatshop just this October in Cainta. Thanks!

@andreanina, can you also pm about the lists of your products? Thanks!

@freeswan, kumusta na yung meatshop ninyo? :)

which is better, chest-type freezers or uprights? Hingi ako sana ng pros and cons of using them at saan ok bumili ng mga freezers. Thanks!

we bought a chest type one, Eurotek ang brand. for meat products mas recommended ang chest type kasi mabigat ang ilalagay mo, pag upright kasi shelves, shelves. pwedeng bumigay ang mga shelves sa bigat ng nilalagay. ideal lang siguro yan sa mga ice/ice candy... ang nakikita ko lang benefit ng upright freezer ay tipid sa space other than that wala na...

if planning to buy installment, longer ang terms sa anson's (12 mos 0% interest) kaysa sm and abenson (6mos lang pareho).
