My version:

- pork butt
- pork liver
- a tbsp of soy sauce
- tomato sauce
- reno
- potatoes
- red bell pepper
- garlic and onion

Saute garlic and onion then add pork butt and let it simmer for 5 mins. Add soy sauce simmer for 10 mins for taste. Now add tomato sauce, potatoes and liver. When meat ia tender add the reo and bell pepper and ready to eat.

I heard, based on Marian Rivera in one of her interviews, her lola makes the best Menudo :-)

Do you know her lola's recipe?

I tried to cook Pork Menudo 2x already pero epic failed. Lagi kasi siya lasa Pork Mechado, sabi ni hubby ko :-(

Mga sis, ni-revised ko na ang recipe ko ng Menudo and mas nagustuhan siya ni hubby.

Here's how i make my menudo:

Ingredients:
Pork (cubed)
Chicken liver (cubed)
garlic and onion
oil/butter
Fresh tomatoes (boiled then lagay sa strainer ska pisain para makuha yung juice)
cubed potatoes
cubed carrots
soysauce and lemom/calamansi (for the marinade of pork cubed)
patis
black ground pepper
cubed bellpepper
Optional: 1/2 pork cube (pag medyo matabang)

Procedure:
1. Marinate pork cubed in soy sauce & calamansi/lemon) for 1-2 hrs.
2.Saute onion and garlic
3.Add the cubed pork wait until mag-change yung color then add water and some of the marinade.Simmer until tender.
4.Add the fresh tomato juice and seasonings such as fishsauce and black pepper.Just make sure lang na lutong-luto yung tomato juice para di maasim.
5.Pag okie n yung taste - put in the carrots and potatoes.
6.Puede na din ilagay ang bellpepper.
7. Lastly put the chicken liver
