i belong!

consulted with 2 ortho sa st lukes, pero both sinabe muscle spasm lang. binigyan ako pain killer per di ko tinake.

now, nagpacheck up ako sa rehab doctor. she advised me to take PT sessions. from there, saka sasabihin kung go na for MRI or not.

sana maging OK na likod ko, excited na ko makatulog ulit ng uninterrupted!

Try swimming regularly. Better than PT sessions for me

i swim regularly, usually 1km.

tapos sumakit likod ko. kala ko nga yung swimming ko dahilan kasi breast stroke natural stoke ko.
anyway so yung swimming dinagdagan ko ng running, core workout (with personal trainer para maaddress back pain ko), and yoga....

still, mas tumitindi pa backpain ko.

1st PT session done. sad lang kasi wag daw muna ko mag high intensity workout. no squats. no dumbbells. no TRX. no planks. swim and yoga lang daw muna.

so kagabi nagswim ako - 1km ulit. nagswim ako kahit nakaplaster ng sports / support tape ang likod ko.

so far, the PT session looks good. hindi masyado makirot ang likod ko kagabi. we'll see.

5th PT session done. improving yung back ko and i still do intermediate yoga or pilates or 1km swim, every day. mejo boring ang PT sessions. last 1 before MRI.

sis onga nakita ko nga yung post mo sa fb mo.

yung sakin diagnosis nung unang atake na naospital ako is muscle spasm, after 2 year e sacroiliitis naman. sumasakit padin likod ko pag nagbubuhat ako mabigat or matagal ako nakayuko till now kaya di na ko umaakyat ng bundok kasi baka bigla umatake kakatakot.

diagnosis namin sakin is Myofascial Pain Syndrome (MPS) - a fancy way to describe muscle pain. It refers to pain and inflammation in the body's soft tissues.

short term relief lang din ang benefits ng PT sessions ko. hopefully may other treatment na irecommend yung rehab doctor sa next visit ko.

Hi, familiar po ba kayo sa chiropractic clinic? May ganyan kasing doctor dito sa Cebu and If I'm not mistaken nag-iisa lang yata siya sa Philippines kasi hindi common yong treatment dito sa atin. Yong former boss ko ganyan din palaging may back pain and na diagnosed na may problem siya sa spine (nakalimutan ko lang exactly) and yong treatment sana is surgery pero 50/50 kung makakalakad pa siya ulit. Then a PT suggested her to see A chiropractic doctor and she did. Nag therapy siya and then after no need na ang surgery. But sabi ng boss ko sobrang sakit lang daw pero worth it naman kasi nawala na yong back pain niya. You can check out po Cebu Chiropractic, I think may mga articles na about it kasi known siya dito sa Cebu.

Yes sis. there will always be hope pray ka lang. eheh I think pwede mo rin siguro e.tanong sa rehab doctor mo if pwede magpa-consult sa chiropractic. May mga documentaries din like they cured a boy with scoliosis the natural way as in walang operations pero sa ibang bansa yun. Basta try and try.. don't give up

I'm having pain issues since last year, I'm already 42. For back pain, I was diagnosed with lumbar strain last year and nagpa PT ako, I have herniated disc daw (based sa MRI), it goes along with age. Akala ko nga hindi mawawala after I finished iyong PT session, meron pa rin siya pero eventually through prayers nawala naman. Then last month nagsisimula na naman pasulpot sulpot lang siya tapos last week ayun, as much as possible ayaw kong mag take ng pain killer. Balik Ortho ako kaso bago na iyong doc, ayun same scene din balik ulit sa PT, one of the solution daw is to change jobs, office work kasi ako, kaso nga sabi din niya hindi naman puwede iyon. Its frustrating pero thats life, I also have osteoarthritis of the left hip and noong december sa left knee naman. Sabi ko nga kapag nagpapa-check up doc am I going to die, hindi naman daw..lol. Hindi nga ako physically active sa sports, simpleng office bahay lang ang peg. Sige po share kayo ng experience and treatment ninyo.

Would you know ano rate ng chiropractor?

I just finished my check up and sabi pag balik balik ang pain, ulit ulit din PT sessions.
Takot yata scoliosis ko bigla ok na ulit. My lower spine has a curve pero forever na daw yun. All my X-ray scans through the years said so.

Really interested in chiro! I saw a video online super OK na mga tao baka it will work for me..

J.adore, last time I heard around 1500 per visit pero the rate is chiropractor clinic dito sa Cebu, hindi ko lang alam sa Manila.

Hi, nasa ibang bansa kasi ako sis at sagot ng insurance pero ang nasa Bill ko around 180k pesos, the injection alone nasa 140k, till now nagti-therapy pa rin ako, May mga certain moves and position na nararamdaman ko parin ang kirot, magbabakasyon pa kami kaya pilit ko pinalalakas mga muscles ko para Makaya ko mahabang lakaran.

sa 1st PT program ko:
- kuryente + hot pack
- ultrasound
- massage
- simple exercise

sa 2nd program (6 sessions ulit)
- traction
- elliptical exercise

anyway, nagpa MRI na ko kagabi sa st lukes global. 24,000 ang rate buti nalagn covered ng healthcard. result in 2 weeks.

update ko lang. so eto impression sa MRI

Beginning disk desiccation, L5-S1

Mild posterior disk bulge, L4-L5

1 month ago na since my rehab doctor advised me to take collagen, 400mg yung nasa reseta.
so far, nababawasan pagsakit ng likod ko. masarap din ang tulog ko since ayun effect ni collagen. icontinue ko lang.

^ hello! yan mismo! ang mahal no, P20 each. forever maintenance pa naman.
pero sakin 1 capsule lang at night.

may nababasa akong brand, neocell at youtheory. gusto ko itry pero ask ko muna sa doctor ko kung OK.
