Hi everyone, sadly this thread is not as active. I just got engaged on March tapos agad na quarantine dahil sa Covid so started to plan my wedding.
Wala pa kami date bec can't finalize everything.

Gumawa nalang ako ng venue comparison chart wherein considering all cost, potential number of guests and caterer, and hotels nearby (kami [textspeak!] magbabayad sa overnight for some non negotiable guests like immediate fam and wedding entourage).

Looking into our mindanao, bohol, tagaytay or baguio na wedding.

Haha

Hope we could help each other!

Btw, K by Cunanan looks and feels promising based on their professional response and reviews i've read here and on fb :)

Hello 2020 brides!

I'm supposed to be a June 2020 bride and we've been planning our wedding since 2018.. Sobrang heart ache ko sa reality na we cannot proceed with our original wedding date.. All of our rings, arrhae/ ring glass case, robe, his coat have our wedding dates na (engraved/ embroidered).. and I have completed our wedding invites (DIY bride kasi!) since Feb 2020..

We have rescheduled to November 2020 because we wanted sana to have it before the year ends.. When we were rebooking and talking to our suppliers in April 2020, we thought November 2020 is safe(r) na, pero with how things are working out in the PH, mukang medyo mahirap pa maclear ang last quarter of the year..

Hay :'(

Hi mga sis! After some months ng pagdedecide if i-push ba namin this year or not, eto na nga na push namin ❤️ originally ang wedding date  namin is April 2020 but we moved it to July 2020.
Nahassle-an kaming kumuha ulit ng requirements.

Hi GT Brides, hope you are all well. :)

For those na nawawalan ng hope or nadidiscourage sa wedding planning, don't. I guess may right time for everything, and asa inyo naman yan ni Fiance ano ang pinaka-important sa wedding niyo.

Share ko lang din, in our case, we discussed this too many times. Haha! Pero samin kasi mas nagmamatter na ikasal na kami, so we decided to push through whether it is a 10pax or 100pax guest list.  So yun, still a January 2021 bride here! :) mas tedious ng konti ang wedding planning, but sure akong worth it lahat nang stress come my wedding day, and yung life after the wedding namin ni H2B. :)

Hello all. Did you still celebrate the wedding this year? My best friend canceled it. I was supposed to be next weekend and the poor girl is crying like crazy.

I just got engaged a few days ago. We are planning to get married next year, kaso ang hirap pala magplano because you don't know if and when magiging allowed na ang may guests. :( Although safest pa din talaga is to plan an intimate wedding...

^correct sis. Safest plan is intimate wedding kasi hindi pa natin alam kailan mawawala ang covid. Happy preps sis!

*sending virtual hugs to 2020 brides*

Our original wedding date was Apr 2020. One year din kami nag prepare.

Nung unang GCQ, we decided to push thru sa wedding bago man lang magexpire yung license namin. Only 10 people were allowed inside the church, included na si bride and groom. We only had a week to prepare ulit. I bought a simple dress from shopee, worth less than Php500. Buti nagkasya hahah. Everything was memorable. Hindi pa pwede yung mga dine-in that time, so dun lang kami sa bahay kumain. Masaya parin yung nanyare. Kinikilig parin ako pag naaalala ko.

As for the celebration with complete family and friends, sana next year pwede na :) Hindi din kasi nakauwi yung dad and sister ko from US.

^^ congrats sis! :) happy for you! concern ko rin yung maka-attend ang family na wala sa manila. hay, hoping the situation improves soon! saw a lot of friends starting to post nga na natutuloy wedding but you can see na onti talaga guests. but the beauty is that you get to focus on what matters, minus all the extravagance. :)
