Hi. 2020 bride here around -ber months pa ang wedding but as early as last year 2019 we booked our wedding suppliers to avail of their 2019 rates and discounts (if booked sa fair)

In my experience, it is better to book ahead so as to save yourself the hassle and stress. For us, we book first the ceremony and reception venue and caterer, the photographer and videographer next.

Depende sa budget, it?s important that you and h2b talk about it so as not to overspend in booking your suppliers.

Know what are your non-negotiables like for us it was the food so we booked a reputable caterer. Next non-negotiable is the photo and video. Why? Kasi after ng kasal yung photo and video na lang yung maiiwan mong souvenir so make sure you find a good one,

Next I book my coordinator.

Sa event stylist I had a particular stylist in mind, whimsical and new perspective ang concept nya. Ayaw kasi namin ni h2b ang super oa na set up and I feel na yung event stylist na nakuha will do just that. Around 100k yung quote niya but lahat ng peg ko nandun, nagcucustomized siya depende sa flowers and design na gusto mo unlike sa iba na fixed rates na.

Sa ceremony lang yung styling niya, the caterer has an event styling offered for the reception.

Hahaha!

Hello! New user here. Jan 2021 pa naman yung wedding ko in tagaytay, but Im already feeling the pressure. 😥 i got a full coordinator kaso my problem is lahat yata ng sinuggest nia na suppliers ay mahal? Her first choice for the event stylist is worth 750k! The next ones are cheaper but still steep! Any recommendation for tagaytay based stylists worth 100-200k max for church, venue and bouquet? Or ganun na talaga ba presyuhan ngayon?

^ About sa stylist, it will depend kasi on your pegs. Kung bongga yung styling that you want, 500k++ talaga sya aabutin. My brother hired Amelia Blossoms for their wedding. 200k ang quote sa kanila for their wedding in Tagaytay. Minimalist pa yung peg nila nyan.

Hey thanks! I'll try to contact Amelia Blossoms. Actually, Rustic Minimalist din gusto namin ni h2b. Very light ceiling treatment, simple flowers. For the church, I only wanted pink and peach baby's breath with some lamps. Kaya sobrang nasindak ako sa price when the stylist quoted it to me, though it was already all in daw.

^ You may want to check Il Fiore or Tita Sonya. Both are in Tagaytay

I highly recommend KbyCunanan. Not sure about their current rates but when I got them at around 1145/head during our 2018 wedding. Btw, I booked them 2017. So maybe this will give you an idea how much sila.

For me sulit sila kasi masarap ang food and kung minimalist ang styling na peg mo, pwede nila achieve without any add-on cost.

Hi 2020 brides! I'm a 2021 bride and since wala pa thread, dito muna ko kumukuha ng tips on planning the wedding. So far, these are the suppliers I have in mind:

Church: Mary the Queen Parish (booked)
Venue: The Greenlounge BTTC
             Sampaguita Gardens
             Elements, ETON Centris
             Wack-Wack Golf and Country Club
Hotel Preps: Novotel
                       Linden Suites
OTD Coordination: Bells & Wishes (MAK Concepts)
                                   Absolutely Knot Events
P/V: Antahan Arts

Any feedback, suggestions, etc will really help! :)

Hello sis! I definitely agree with you! We have the same 'plans'. 70-80 pax, intimate and solemn, tapos garden christian wedding. Nag gawa kami ng excel file na nakaindicate ang estimate amount according sa research namin and guess what? Umabot ng 460,000 for an 80pax garden wedding celeb!!!

BF and I's also eyeing for Q4 2021 wedding (his parents kasi nasa US so we have to wait). Super tagal pa nung samin pero we are already listing down possible suppliers na preferred namin ang style. Para pag 100% may green light na, di na kami mahirapan mag research and scout. :D BTW we're not even engaged yet! But wedding is already in the talks like BUDGET, WHEN and WHERE hehe!

OMG same! Silent lurker here but due to quarantine, my bf has been very serious about getting married next year! We've been asking suppliers for their rates and medyo hiya ako to ask since we also are not yet engaged. Our budget is 300k lang pero with an estimate of 150pax hindi kakayanin. We narrowed down to 75pax pero overbudget pa rin!

I think this covid thing will last longer.
For now safer to plan siguro April 2021 onwards.

Not sure ano plan ng Ibang 2020 brides?

Same here, Dec. 2021 bride. Sobrang aga din namin mag scout. I think now is the best time to book suppliers because of Covid madami sila promos. May online bridal fair ang Weddings@work sa 15. Hehe tingin tingin muna.

Yung nimoved na namin yung date due to COVID-19.
E yung ibang docs aside from the aformentioned above? Or depende sa church?
Sa tingin nyo anong month pinaka safe imoved ulit? Jan 2021?
TIA

We were supposed to have our civil wedding last Mar27 sa Phil Embassy here in SG. Moved to April 3 kasi sabi sa akin ng taga-Embassy, H2B needs to quarantine for 14 days dahil galing ng pinas. His arrival date to the date of our wedding is 2 days short for the required 14 days quarantine. So we have to move to April 3. 2 days after I received the call that we need to move the wedding, I received an email that all wedding solemnisation at the Embassy starting Mar23 onwards are suspended until further notice. Kakaloka. Naghihintay pa din kami hanggang ngayon

^ sis mukhang you still need to wait for another 1.5 months. :(

Why not consider getting married narin sa Sg Rom since andyan narin kayo.
<Knock on wood> if ever something not so good happens, may habol ka and can file for child support etc.

Di ko kasi sure if need pa ulit kumuha ng requirements if next year kami magpapakasal. Salamat!
