^ ah sis pag software testing more of understanding the application yun. basta may idea ka ng software testing life cycle or software dev't life cycle. may officemate ako dati polsci ang background pero effective naman na tester. mas madali maka-adjust sa software testing yung mga kakilala ko na ng non-comp graduates. pero [textspeak!] nila, mas malaki daw ang kita sa programming.  :D

^ you're welcome sis.  :) just an added note, if you think you have a strong sense of logic and reasoning (kahit Mass Comm grad ka), then go into programming. but if you have an eye for details and medyo OC ang nature mo (like me), i suggest you will be more suited for software testing. hope this helps.  :)

Currently meron cs50 (introduction to programming) by harvard and another one by mit for mobile experience naman, though with the latter you need to have knowledge of a programming language na (i.e., java for android). Like I said these are free but you can opt to pay for a certificate from the university mismo. :)

What do you think mga sis?

nasa magkano kaya ang tuition sa MFI for Vocational course 1-2 year course?

I enrolled in a CCNA Course at Rivan IT Systems in Recto. What is good with them is that  you can go back for review any time until you pass the exam for the certificate.

Career shifter sa IT. Took up 1-2 year programming course sa Meralco (MFI).  Sabi niya mga nasa 50k a year tuition.  Not bad.  Magaling naman siya.

Try lynda.com. I am learning WordPress and Photography through Lynda. Compare to Udemy, I prefer Lynda.

After a few months finished my portfolio and landed a job sa industry na di ko akalaing meron dito sa pinas.. Sobrang thankful ako sa company na yan.

Testing for those who did not pass the official exams is testing a program that works with bugs and has nothing to do with checking the knowledge of graduates. I passed the real complex tests when I passed for the certificate and I had to study the features of the Professional Project Management course for people like me. I admit, this is not easy, but my area of work implies much more detailed and complex questions and I will say that cool companies focus on the quality of testing and not on testing these programs on humans. Therefore, bugs and features are a component of novice IT writers who are still working on a raw product.
