Nahihirapan ako sa stylists. Any recommendations? Tsaka yung sa entourage gowns and suits wala pa din kami. Yung medyo affordable sana.. Except for Hizons pala ah.. Kasi medyo madami na akong nabasa sa kanila pero go pa din ako kasi masarap naman food. Tutukan lang dapat talaga sila. Hehe! 😂

Hi everyone! We had a destination wedding in Bohol, and it was absolutely beautiful. Here are our wedding suppliers:

Wedding planner: Supreme Weddings (Mae Supremo - Li: This woman has nerves of steel, which is necessary for being in this business! Some problems with communicating with her team, but somehow everything was executed naman on our wedding day)  :)
Ceremony venue: St. Augustine Church
Reception venue: South Palms Resort
Reception venue coordinator: Vincent Amora (highly recommended; he went above and beyond expectations and really helped us during the entire process)  :)
Photographer and Videographer: Superseven (super fun to work with --  these guys were great)
Musicians: Francis Balo, Alma Golosino, Joseph and Nabela (Our musicians were fantastic and everyone loved their performances -- Not sure if Francis himself showed up, but whoever was playing the violin was good)
Lights and Sounds: DRC (We were surprised that we had a smoke machine on the beach for our first dance! Really added to the WOW factor :) )
Makeup Artist: Marian Manigque (She was so chill and nice, glad we chose her!)
Entourage dresses and church accessories (veil, cord, pillow): White Label Bridal (Gail was so patient with my mom's multiple requests; the colours she chose for my entourage worked nicely together and turned out well in the pictures. It was just a little difficult communicating with her assistant -- some botched instructions costed us P2,000 for shipping because they couldn't give me one of the dresses in time)
Event stylist: Bluegrass Project (They didn't get my bouquet right, but they are highly competent and delivered well on the day; some problems with communication)
Emcee: DJ Jacky/Odessa (lovely woman, bubbly personality, some problems with pronouncing people's names but I'm chalking that up to the stress of the day)
Invitations: CDI Designs (Based in Cebu, really easy to work with and pretty invitations were delivered with no mistakes!)
DJ: DJ Neo (really sorted us out with our requested songs and even helped us with a mini-karaoke session in the end)
Cake and souvenirs: Lola Lillia's (three-layered cake was good, but somehow the flavors were not what we ordered. souvenir cupcakes and macarons were yummy)
Bride's hair accessories: Francis Libiran (ceremony) and Bluegrass Project (reception)
Groom's attire and other barongs: SM Kultura for groom and groomsmen (RTW), Tesoro's for father-of-the-bride and principal sponsors (tailor-made)
Wedding Rings: supplier from abroad
Bride's reception dress and pre-nup dresses: Ever New (SM Aura branch)
Transportation/Tours: Wow Bohol Tours (We had problems with the arranged shuttles and the tours. Proceed with caution.)
Wedding gown: Julianne Syjuco. (Yikes -- the woman is talented but there was so much STRESS getting the dress done.. And her gowns are not cheap. Proceed with caution.)

Hi Sis, same here! I'm also thinking of Vee and I want a minimalist gown for my entourage. Mukhang friendly and okay si Vee. Any feedback? Thank you!!

Hi sis, I considered Bohol for my wedding also (Ultimately, we went with Boracay for sentimental reasons) and I also met with Julianne but hesitated and didn't go with her in the end. Share naman pics of your wedding  :D Sounds so nice

Hi, newbie here. :)

Getting married on November 2020. And I am really torn between three venues.

Checked Marriott two weeks ago and was somehow dissatisfied. I inquired with Manila Pen and Shangri-la Fort. We are keen on booking Manila Pen but I have read some very bad reviews about the staff and their service.

Any bride here that booked one of those venues? I would really appreciate your feedback :)

We had our own pastry chef, my husband?s mother, 20 years old, has been doing this! The whole organization of the holiday, the buffet table and our evening in general was done by the guys    https://bstars.eu
I myself thought over the design as a whole, I myself decided what colors, decorations, but if I needed advice, I would also decide the question with them.

Just got married last week!  ;D We're so happy at nakaraos din haha!  ;D

Hotel Wedding Preps: Seda Vertis North
OTD: Bells and Wishes (registered name is now MAK Concepts)
Ceremony and Reception: Fernwood Gardens QC
Chapel florist: Forget Me Knot
Wedding singer: Classica Samson
Entourage and Bride flowers: The Unique Bouquet
Entourage and Bride gown: Johannna Bespoke
HMUA Bride & Mothers: Ten Franco
HMUA Entourage: Lian Capili
Groom Suit: JE&Co
Entourage suit: RTW Perry Ellis and Arrow
Caterer: Hizon's
Photo: CamZar
Video: Zoombox
Emcee: Dwaine Woolley
Mobile Bar: OpenBar PH by Diageo
Invitations: Print & Co
Photobooth: DJCoki

  • I commend our OTD Bells & Wishes, sobrang bait, patient, and professional. Sila talaga ang bahala sa lahat on the day at alam talaga nila ang ginagawa nila. You won't have any worries.
  • Get Ten Franco kung gusto mo ng natural look. Our mothers liked her style. Hindi kami nagbagong anyo haha ;D From pre-gown to reception look, everything she did was perfect. She was with me every shoot and up until before I walked down the aisle. Attentive, funny, and never imposing.
  • Groom loved his suit. He had about 5-6 fittings/visits. We were happy with their customer service, especially the lady at their front desk. She was accommodating and would advise alterations/modifications based on her assessment of the groom's overall look. They didn't get the suit design that we wanted on their first try. Good thing the owner stepped in and accommodated our request despite the wedding being only a week away.
  • I didn't get fresh flowers for my bouquet and entourage corsage and boutonnieres. Ms. Lorraine's work was good. There were minor glitches (like delivery time was midnight, and may pahabol pa the next day, 'coz she didn't deliver everything on the agreed date), but objectively, her work was beautiful. Muka talagang totoo yung flowers.
  • CamZar and Zoombox have worked together before and na-feel ko talaga yung chemistry nila. Malaking bagay yun. We never felt uncomfortable at sobrang funny nila. They knew how to make us at ease. Very professional at magaling talaga sila. We loved our SDE and photo slideshow because they captured candid shots and genuine moments :) Working with them was a fun-filled experience  ;D
  • We were very happy with how Dwaine handled the program, siya talaga ang bahala maghandle ng anything related to the program. Charming and very relatable 'coz he's been here in the Philippines for quite some time. Marunong mag tagalog at bisaya which is a plus! He accommodated some of our program changes even though they were last minute.
  • Agreement with mobile bar was 5hrs, 5-10PM. They closed the bar around 8:50PM. Some misunderstanding at hindi kami natuwa sa ginawa nila, kahit na masarap sila gumawa ng drinks :( The bartenders didn't demonstrate any courtesy whatsoever when we were attempting to resolve the discrepancy between their job order and our agreement with their team lead.
  • I loved my gown. It was a full french lace gown. Sadly, just before ako maglakad, may natastas na lace sa harap. Very minor, not really obvious. :(

I hired caters from Poptop company, they do their work perfectly and the food and service is truly amazing. For my second wedding I had a pizza van, it was a bit informal ceremony :) everything was great.
