apad/epad mid (android 2.2)

Anyone here familiar with this gadget? It's selling like hotcakes in greenhills and sulit.com and i've also seen the gadget ok naman. I was supposed to get the samsung galaxy tab but when i heard about this last week i was thinking this is a more practical option kasi ang mura compared to anything else. Supposed to be an ipad clone from china but the features are similar to the galaxy and runs on android 2.2 OS. Please share your experience with the gadget kung meron familiar dito. Thanks.

well i have mine, ang na notice ko lang ang dali uminit ng battery niya parang 1hr palang mainit na sya, but the features was ok plus its a handy pc na din kasi you can use excel & other msoffice in here. wifi na din siya so far so good 1yr warranty din yung binigay sakin

sis what about sa fb? can you play flash games and play videos? pwede ba maglagay ng e-dictionary jan and other application na compatible sa android? ilan ang memory nya?

hi sis chaucer, how much yung APad sa Greenhills?  I heard that it is very much cheaper at 168 but Im unsure of the quality..  Im interested to get one din kasi.

I want to buy one too! The the battery last for a long time? If so, how long? It comes in different colors pa and I've read somewhere you can use the globe tattoo, smartbro and sun usb for internet if theres no wifi around...

an apad can last for an hour pero true na ang bilis nila uminit scary kase pag hawak mo and you notice na parang ang init na namaground ka basta ang init [textspeak!] no joke...ang bilis super ma drain ng battery how would you want to carry an apad when your in a mall if yung battery would last only for an hour the most.. hay kakadepress lang waste of money.. sayang din ang 4thou

Sana meron pang ibang feed back na mag post. I've been searching articles about ePad kasi I need to have one in the next few weeks. Medyo torn ako kung Netbook o Samsung Galaxy pero nung nakita ko yung ePad sa 168 na curious ako. Takot ako bilin kasi baka hindi gumana kapag kailangan ko na gamitin. Na discourage kasi ako nung nabasa ko yung post ni Mrs. Binlaten

^ I bought one online. Its pink color. It heats up nga if you use it for a while. I havent checked the other apps yet. I just use it to watch youtube videos. The wifi works fine. Yun nga lang I have to leave it plugged na. When I unplug it, it shuts down for some reason. Might just sell it coz I have my iPhone naman. I bought it thinking I would be able to use it but turns out the features that I like I can use naman sa phone ko...

Hi sis, how were you able to watch youtube? i tried watching din but all it says upgrade to adobe flash and when i try to download still not supported daw.. up to how many gb ba sya expandable?
  Btw, i got my apad na.. ok naman though yung una ko nabili defective but still under warranty so napalitan ko agad. I use mine kasi mainly for reading ebooks. Yung music player di gumagana but still sulit for the price. Tia!

hi sis! I am able to use it naman. It was pre-installed na when I bought it from an online seller. Everything works naman so far even the music player. Yun nga lang nag sshut down when I remove the charger. Same lang talaga ng quality ng mga china phones...

I dont know also its up to how many gb expandable yung memory sis How do you install Ebooks btw?

baka higher version na nabili mo sis kaya pwede mag youtube, sa akin apad 3.2 nabili ko 2 months ago na.. you can store ebooks in your sd card then read it sa pdf reader if pdf file. i converted my ebooks to epub format kasi i installed aldiko, free apps for android that lets you have your own online library
          sis xtine, can you download or upload ba dyan sa apad mo? sa akin ok ang wifi and i also use usb broadband with it minsan but hanggang browse lang ako..

be warned lang mga sis.. mostly di totoo yung specs ng apad... sinasabi na 3.0 na daw, iba nga 5.0 but it's only running on android 1.6

1.6 - 2.0/2.1 - 2.2 - 2.3 (latest) - 3.0 (made specifically for tablets)

i bought the one with the MID cover on the box, blue led...
- ang pangit pa nito.. it turned out to be a clone of an apad.. clone na nga yung apad sa ipad, tapos clone pa ito ng apad.. that's for the tablet i bought, and mostly the ones sold on sulit, ebay etc.

as what others mentioned, madali syang uminit, madali rin ma-drain yung battery...
yes.. di talaga worth it.

what's more, wala pang android market, 3rd party chinese market lang meron kaya medyo mahirap maghanap ng apps.

yung apps naman, mostly di na magagamit, especially yung mga apps na madalas magagamit since mostly kailangan na ng newer versions of android.

sa games naman, wala talagang pag-asa.. sobrang naglalag..

ginawa ko, i searched for a firmware na compatible sa apad ko.. marami na akong na-try pero so far, isa lang talaga ang nag-work.. but thanks to that firmware, i can access the android market na, rooted na rin which i can't do with the default firmware. mas flexible na sya although it still has it's limitations.

kahit na for practicality.. di talaga worth it ang apad, if you have the cash, go for other tablets like samsung.
