Kasambahay Schedule of Activities
« on: March 01, 2018, 03:00:23 pm »

Do you give a schedule to your kasambahays?
What's the ideal schedule for them including break times etc?

I'm thinking there's a daily schedule and there's also a list of activities classified as weekly or monthly.

Please do share your schedules if any. I know it does't have to be followed by the book but for new hires joining I think it would be helpful to have some sort of direction.

Yes we do follow a schedule. Sample:

8-9 prep and eat bfast
9-11 linis ng house, fold ng laundry, laundry (with awm)
11-12 prep and eat ng lunch
12-12:30 lunch
12:30-3 break; nap time (nap time din kasi to ng baby ko so while baby's sleeping, rest time din nya). sometimes dito nya sinisingit yung paglinis ng restroom (once a week task)
3-3:30 linis ng rooms
3:30-5:30 play time with baby; snacks
5:30-6:30 prep and eat dinner
6:30-7 walis and mop ng sala and kitchen
7pm out na sya

Once a week tasks:
Linis ng toilet (she usually does this before she naps sa hapon)
Palengke (usually around 4:30pm sya namamalengke since that's the schedule of the wet market near us; this is done every Monday)

Once a month tasks:
General cleaning (scrub ng floors, punas ng walls and windows, etc. every end of the month to)

...all adventurous women do.
