Hala malamig pa din pala! Mga baguio levels pa ito? Hindi ko na need magpack ng down jackets no? Pag super lamig pa din kelangan ko ata ilabas sa baul ang winter clothes ko haha! If not, then stick ako sa sweaters na lang.

Madang is one of the best Korean restos in Sydney.
Other Korean restos to try: Arisun, Naruone and The Sparrow's Mill - all known for their Korean Fried Chicken

Other recos for Sydney eats:
Hurricane's Grill (Darling Harbour) - famous for their ribs
Blackstar Pastry - for their Watermelon Cake and other desserts (located in Kinokuniya Bookshop)
Grill'd - for healthy burgers
Yayoi - japanese restaurant in Town Hall
Ichiban - cheaper Japanese dishes (ramen, tonktatsu) also in Town Hall
Bills (Surry Hills or Bondi) - good for brunch and they serve good coffee
Koi - dessert place in Kensington Street (near Central Station)
Adriano Zumbo - cakes, macarons (they have a pop-up store in QVB)
Gumption (located at The Strand) - great coffee
Bourke Street Bakery (Surry Hills) - pastries

Melbourne eats:
Om Nom Dessert Bar - best known for their desserts
The Grain Store - brunch that is healthy and delicious
Manchester Press - great coffee, good healthy eats
Chin Chin - Asian cuisine...known for their Caramelised Pork Belly
Movida - one of the best Spanish restaurants in Melbourne (book a table!)

I just applied visa on line on Saturday waiting for the result. We are planning to go to Sydney on October for 5 days. Do have any budget hostel or hotel to recommend? How much roughly the budget should be for 5 days includes food, transportation and budget hostel just to have an idea. Thank you

Hello, Lanesky! A friend of mine stayed in Bounce Hostel. http://www.bouncehostel.com.au/
She said the place was clean and good for families. It is also accessible to public transport, surrounded by cafes and convenience stores.

Yey! good na na enjoy nyo sis at walang ulan. :)

Do have any budget hostel or hotel to recommend?

Airbnb lang ang ni-book ko sis and it cost me $95/night along Darling Harbour (Pyrmont). Yung isa naman, $70/night malapit naman sa airport (Rosebery). Okay lang naman sakin kasi ang maki-share ng place as long as separate room at private bathroom.

Ask ko lang kung okay ba sa Perth mamasyal?
Maraming outdoor activities pero not so sa shopping at eating. :) Saka layo-layo kasi yung pasyalan kaya dapat may private car para  madali at convenient.

Lapit na rin ang Sydney trip namin. :)

Thanks sis ibyangbabe sa suggested places to eat. :)

Hi. Madali lang po ba to purchase items from the US and have it shipped to Australia?

Thanks.

hi sisses living in Australia Sydney, would like to ask what's best to bring here from PH in terms of food or clothing since I'll be moving to Au next year I just got a job :)
Like if clothing, ano yung mahirap bilhin diyan since kaunti lang ang malls.. (i.e office shoes, dress..)
na mas mura if bibilhin dito sa PH.
Then if food naman should I bring ba yung mga food seasoning mix (sinigang mix etc..) since kaunti lang ata pinoy store..

TIA! :D

^No need to bring anything. Mas mura pa nga dito minsan and mas madaming Filipino shops (even the other Asian stores sell it). My family used to own a shop selling Filipino goods, and we had customers who buy from us to send to Manila, like mixes, bagoong, rice, etc. Clothes are cheaper in Sydney too. Sa Manila the only place I visit to shop is Uniqlo, almost the same pricing sa Sydney.

thanks sis ataypool for the tips! only prob ko nalang siguro is shoes ni hubby since maliet size ng paa niya like equivalent is size 7 for ladies so if sa guys mga around size 6 lang siya, pansin ko smallest size sa mga store sa AU usually ay size 7 for guys unless pang kids siguro bibilhin niya :/

^Yes it's true, pero baka may makuha kayo online shopping sa Asos (quick delivery to Aus) or The Iconic ( same owner as Zalora ).

Hi sisses!

I just want to share my visa application. naoverwhelm lang ako.. I created my immi account last June hanggang step by step ko nacomplete everything including all documents required, I finished uploading all requirements last Aug. 29 then I submitted it for final payment and processing. To my surprise, nakareceive ako ng Visa Grant Notification the following day.. :)
