^ THanks, sis!

BTW, do I need to declare OTC meds and vitamin supplements that I will bring, yung good for our stay lang naman ang quantity, which will be in our checked in luggage?

Yung hormone pills and prescription meds need ideclare and present prescription when we will bring them in?

Thanks!

^ Actually sis nakita ko na nga yang sample arrival card. Di ko lang kasi sure what they meant of medicines sa item #1. Covered kaya pati yung vitamins and OTC meds? Would it be better to just check YES to be on the safe side?  baka ma-fine pa ko... haha... praning lang....

If we check YES, we need to present the items to them din?

^just in case be prepared. Depends din sa mga customs officer, you might get the grumpy one. There is a pre-check done when you go through the customs queue; they will look at the form and ask you one or two questions then they will decide if you go through the line for the thorough check, or the line where the sniffer dogs are (minsan wala, so diretso ka na sa exit).

The seats are a bit hard but it can be remedied anyway. The food sucks so I bring my own. Night flights sobra lamig pero okay naman sa day flights for me. Some of my friends hate them because they were on flights that were delayed for more than an hour.

Hi ladies!

Just got back from our week-long vacay in Sydney last week. Thanks for all the helpful inputs I got from you, especially sis rocky, ataypool and avitot. Thanks for sharing infos. We had an awesome time there.

Flew in and out of Sydney via Cebu Pac. I really did not expect much considering budget airlines siya but I am not sure if I will ever fly with them again on long-haul. On time naman yung flights, no delays. Medyo hassle yung bubuksan mo pa yung mga luggages mo upon check in dito sa NAIA T3. Kaya pala ang haba ng pila sa check in because of that, considering we are 4-hours early na sa airport. Na-stress ako dun! First time to experience that.

Stayed at Mercure Sydney Central. Good location and our accommodation comes with daily breakfast na. Quality and quantity of food is okay naman.

We pretty much did what we had planned out, except Royal Botanic Gardens. Di namin napuntahan. The kids are too lazy talaga to walk. I thought relaxed lang yung itinerary na ginawa ko pero nakakapagod pa rin pala yung lakaran. haha.... actually, di kasi kami sanay sa mahabang mga lakaran... haha... we all exceeded our daily step count when we were in Sydney! :)

Also, we were lucky na hindi maulan nung andun kami. Weather was like 19-24C, medyo naiiinitan kami... kinda hot at midday...

Last trip with them last year tinatanong lang ako kung may batteries etc sa check in luggage ko before check in, then before boarding lang ang check to whatever they allow you sa cabin. Mas na-stress ako sa PAL last year too because they opened everything before check in and grabe ang singitan sa pila that we even confronted some of them.

^Oh, it applies pala to all carriers going to Sydney? Kala ko with CebuPac lang. Ang hassle lang talaga. Had I known beforehand, di ko muna sana nilagyan ng mga locks at luggage covers yung mga bagahe para after na lang ng pre-check-in inspection ko nilagay. Nastress ako sa procedure na 'to... hahaha... Naisip ko tuloy, ganun din kaya if Singapore Airlines kami? Nagtaka kami bakit ganun yung pila sa check-in eh sobrang aga pa namin... yun pala ang dahilan...

Does it apply too if going to Melbourne? :)

^ I think it applies to certain countries like Australia, UK, etc. That's the policy daw kasi ng destination country.

^^Just be prepared for it, my sister heard a conversation between 2 security staff of Cebu Pac while lining up for check in that they have to really work hard because Australia will fine them a lot of money like the last time. Baka ganun rin sa Singapore Airlines especially when flying in from Manila.
