I'm so sad kasi kung sino pa tong mga national officials eto pa yung bobo..They are representing our country and yet they are so stupid. I admire some local officials or provincial Mayors na tuwid mag isip at may initiative. Rama from Cebu, Duterte from Davao and Romualdez from Tacloban... wala naman sigurong official na hindi corrupt halos lahat sila but being bobo is really unacceptable..So sorry but I'd rather see Arroyo being interviewed by CNN than Pnoy or Erap..that issue from DSWD repacking Prepack relief goods from Indonesia was so true..I was one of the immediate volunteers na pumunta doon sa site kasi taga doon kami but nadismaya kasi una pinaghintay ng ilang oras  kasi naubusan na daw ng plastic yun pala plastic na may nakapangalan ng DSWD then when we went back the next day relief goods ng Indonesia ni repack ulit na may DSWD plastic and there was no bottled condiments sa relief goods. so I must say dapat pull out na lahat ng relief operation from DSWD tulong nalang magdistribute. Look what happened sa Villamor Air Base it was really a hassle moving survivors to Camp Aguinaldo from Villamor then ibabalik lang din pala. Why? DSWD again vs. PAF ladies. Their claiming na umeepal ang mga ladies.Well, I think lahat sila Epal. E bakit dito sa amin hindi naman nag iringan ang PAF enlisted ladies at Red Cross considering na dito una dinala ang mga survivors from Tacloban and until now walang iringan nangyayari pa rin sa AMIN..hehe.

I don't think the word is happy.  I think this issue about our government's inefficiency is just beyond me.  I am angry and have been angry with our government's betrayal and disservice.  And I am glad, yes glad, hindi naman rejoicingly happy, pero I am glad that someone outside of the Philippines saw this. Sugapa talaga sila. Gahaman.  Hindi ako makaisip pa ng word for them, it is beyond garapal sugapa at gahaman eh.

I believe, imho, the words that hit the mark is, INHUMAN.

I’ve long wanted to help those affected by the typhoon and the earthquake, but the BIR has sued me for a baseless P2.2-billion tax case and garnished my bank assets],” Pacquiao said in a statement.

^ I concur. Sad to say, but I think the politicians here will pull Pacquiao down. He can start with his daughters as they were born in the US even without those achievements.

Magpasalamat nga yang mga pulitiko na yan he still chose to remain a Filipino to give honor to the country.

And I agree with Top Rank din; this is a bureaucracy issue in IRS, and BIR should be communicating with IRS instead of freezing Pacquiao's assets. >_<

And DTI's statement re: Diskwento Caravan:

when Kim/bir was interviewed though at TV Patrol, she mentioned that there were only 2 bank accounts that were frozen, in the amount of P800k + P300k.

And ngayon may news pa na isusubasta daw yung property niya.

sis..it was confirmed that it's only 1.1 million ang nafreeze na account. question. bakit kailangan mangutang pa kung piso lang naman ang nafreeze pala sa asset mo..I must say bakit gamitin pa yung Tacloban victims. I'm a big fan of Pacquiao but i think it's time for him to change his strategy when it comes to politics..jaz my opinion sis..please enlighten me..

I'm not sure pero sa napanood ko nga rin lahat ng bank accounts nya na-froze so wala syang pwedeng pagkuhanan ng pantutulong sa typhoon victims. Accdg. to Henares naman two bank accounts lang yung na-garnish at yun yung  may laman ng 1.1 M. Pero if true talaga na 1.1M lang yung nakuha,   namumulitika nga talaga si Pacquiao. ;D
I've seen naman this comment na nirepost sa yahoo irerepost ko lang ulit. :D This somehow persuaded me na may mali sa ginawa ng BIR kay Pacquiao.

Dear Kim Henares, I do not doubt your sincerity to collect taxes from every Filipino, living or dead. I do not even doubt your integrity in making sure that you are able to collect the proper taxes from everyone. I am however questioning your motives and arbitrary choice in the personalities you choose to prosecute. I am going to cite one particular person who has been on the BIR's radar as a perennial tax evader for the last 20-years with cases going in and out of court. His name is Lucio Tan and he owes the country more than 5-billion pesos in tax liabilities decided on numerous times by the Supreme Court as executory stand final and yet no garnishment order was ever made until his petition in the SC reversed their decisions time and again. Lucio Tan was never known for his philanthropy or good business practices. He authored the contractualization of PAL and Asia Brewery employees which was not only detrimental to Filipino Labor but also to taxes that could be collected from these workers had they been regular employees. Lucio Tan is also accused of ill-gotten wealth from his Marcos days, and yet he continues to enjoy his money. Congressman Manny Pacquiao's case is not even at the High Court and his earnings have already been garnished. You have been given certified true copies of Pacman's tax payments in the US and yet you refuse to recognize this and insist on originals which I believe, but I may be mistaken, even ?US citizens have no access to. And to think that Pacquiao earned his money through honest, literally blood, sweat and tears. And he is one of about ten persons who insist in keeping his money in the Philippines because he is a patriot. He could have stashed it somewhere you cannot reach it if he had things to hide, but he kept it here, so our economy can make use of it. You cannot even freeze the money of politicians involved in the PDAF scam but you can do this to an ordinary man who managed to rise above all of you through hard work, guts, integrity and the work of his own hands. And that is why your integrity is rapidly being eroded, because you don't seem to think anymore. You just grab the first victim that cannot fight you. Because even if Pacquiao is a Congressman, he is not connected to the old boys club and so does not have the clout of the Tan's, Sy's, Dy's and others. Oh, and Lucio Tan did give over 100 million to Noynoy's election kitty while Pacquiao was with the opposition. I guess we know now the motivations don't we? Yours disgustedly, Your Boss's Boss

reporting this:

The country's top forensic pathologist tweets!

"Raquel Fortun @Doc4Dead 5h
So pag yung boss mo ayaw sa bad news, out of place ka dun. Hanggang sa ikaw rin good-news-only na rin."

This is related to the supposedly "walk-out" raw ni Dra. Racquel kasi nagclash with the NBI making epal over identification of the dead bodies. At evident sa tweets nya she's aware that there's a plan to dampen the number of casualties. Add to this na per Mar Roxas, a dead body can only be counted raw as a "dead" kung na-identify na. no wonder in a rush sila ilibing into mass graves din just to "hide" the sheer number of casualties. this is so sad really. inhumanity at its finest.

^imho, the death toll should NOT reach 10K otherwise, sampal na naman sa mukha ni ABNOY.  I did read somewhere, both in the papers and online that the death toll (with UN) was past 20K.  this should include those who perished in the aftermath.  That should count, right?

note:  even the devastated Coron is suffering with the Relief Goods Packaging-Swap.

A little good news, is, some parts of the town has electricity and Globe telecommunications.........so, local tourism boost is needed.  these are the livelihoods of the locals...........

^^SHOULD not? But what if it's the truth?and you're right, I think pati yun mga namatay in the aftermath of the storm due to slow relief/rescue response should also be included. Mukhang tama yung estimate nun police chief na ni-relieve daw dahil sa statement nya na 10k nga ang casualties, in Tac alone. i read in the news a few days ago na meron sinasabi si Roxas na 'new dead' found under the rubbles. Eto yun mga sinasabi na namatay, indirectly bec of Yolanda since they survived, pero they succumbed to the injuries they have since ang tagal bago sila nabigyan ng medical aid.

^are you referring to carmen's pedrosa's video back in 2010 na nagiging viral sa fb?kasi nirefute na yata ni Aquino yan before. Pero hell, just looking at him recently, yun mga gesturrs nya, mahahalata mo naman na there's somethung wrong with him talaga psychologically. Yun lang pagiging out of touch nya with reality, and his facial expressions nailed it alreadty hehe
